Scotland U18- Switzerland U18 51:55

Switzerland sent Scotland to the last position in Sarajevo at the U18 European Championship in Division B. The Swiss side grabbed 55:51 win to finish on the 21st place. Scotland meanwhile finished the campaign on the last place.
It was the game for the last position in the tournament and the teams struggled until the end. They both scored 12 points each in the first period and only after that Switzerland erupted with 17-4 for 29:16 lead at the halftime. Joshua McGilvray (201-C-95) helped his team to come closer to 35:30, while Verga nailed three for 41:31. Malcolm reduced to 43:44 and Joshua McGilvray brought 47:46 lead with 3 minutes to go. Nicholas Sim (180-PG-95) gave Scotland 51:50 but those points were the last in the game for his side. Switzerland finished the game with a 5-0 run and clinched the higher place.
Daniel Andjelkovic (200-PF-94) paced all the winners with 21 points and Branislav Kostic (180-PG-94) netted 11. Nicholas Sim produced 19 points in the losing effort, whilst Joshua McGilvray and Jack Nicholson (180-SG-94) had 10 each.

Glasgow can celebrate finally their first win this season after eight consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Tayside, where they defeated Tayside (1-8) 57-43 on Saturday.
