Four games opened the new, 2012/2013 season in the country this weekend. City of Edinburgh Kings SM and Clark Eriksson Fury SM won their first games on Saturday. Clark Eriksson Fury SM beat Glasgow Storm 80:53, while City of Edinburgh Kings SM edged Boroughmuir Blaze SM 75:68.
Tonight Stirling Knights SM beat Dunfermline Reign SM 79:73 and Troon Tornadoes SM overcame Glasgow University SM 71:61.

Edunburgh Kings (4-1) recorded its first loss in St Mirren on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked St.Mirren S. (5-1) 69-60. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Edunburgh Kings. It was a key game for the second position in the league. St.Mirren S. have a solid series of four victories in a row. SONY CENTRE FURY 78 EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY 43 Undefeated Fury maintained their Championship form with a huge 35 point win in the capitol against student team - Edinburgh University. Not only did the Falkirk side produce text book offence they held the students to a mere 43 points with none of the Uni side making double figures. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Stirling K. has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Glasgow, where they edged Glasgow (0-5) 59-58 on Sunday. Newly promoted Stirling K. maintains eighth position with 1-3 record.
