Darden
The Glasgow Rocks regret to announce that Big Man Meneptha Darden (206-C-88, college: Rogers St.) has been released by the club. Underlying health issues have dictated that Darden needs to return to the USA. The Rocks franchise wish him the best for any future venture .

The Rocks will now have to face reigning BBL Champions Newcastle Eagles on Friday evening without Darden. It will be the opening league fixture of the 2012/13 BBL Championship season.

The Rocks are scheduled to play their first Home game on the 7th October at the Commonwealth Arena. Tickets for this major event will be going on sale within the next 24 hours.

Fury storm out of Mariner and on to Playoff Finals - 2 months ago

Falkirk were able to capitalise on this with Keith Bunyan (191-G-77) lighting up behind the arc. Fury worked the ball well as a team and made Glasgow Storm work for extended periods on the defensive e...   [read more]
