Glasgow Rocks add Achara to their roster - Oct 2, 2012

Glasgow Rocks (BBL) added to their roster 29-year old Scottish ex-international power forward Kieron Achara (208-128kg-83, college: Duquesne, agency: Two Points). He is a dual citizen owning also Nigerian passport. Achara played last season at Assignia Manresa in Spanish ACB league. In 34 ACB games last year he recorded 6.0ppg and 3.5rpg.
He was also a member of Scottish international program for some years. Achara played for Scottish Senior National Team between 2002 and 2005 and previously for U20 National Team back in 2001. He represented Scotland at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) this year. His stats at that event were 4 games: 4.0ppg, 2.3rpg.
Achara has played also professionally in Scotland (Clark Eriksson Fury).
He attended University of Duquesne until 2008 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player.
