The game had a very big importance for fifth-ranked St.Mirren RKC as it allowed them to take a leadership position. St.Mirren RKC defeated 6th ranked Pentland Star on the road 62-51. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Pentland Star lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team still keeps top place with seven games lost. Pentland Star will play next round against strong Glasgow Rocks trying to get back on the winning streak. St.Mirren RKC will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Edinburgh Kool Kats at home.

Host Edinburgh Kool Kats (5-1) defeated guests from Glasgow (6-2) 51-38. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Glasgow Rocks. Despite that victory Edinburgh Kool Kats went down to fourth position due to points difference. Defending champion Glasgow Rocks keep the third place with two games lost. Edinburgh Kool Kats will play against St.Mirren RKC (#5) in St Mirren in the next round. Glasgow Rocks will play against the league's leader Pentland Star and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Despite that victory Polonia Phoenix went down to second position due to points difference. Tayside lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with six games lost. Polonia Phoenix will meet at home Clark Eriksson (#6) in the next round. Tayside will have a break next round.

Glasgow Rocks have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 6-2 record having just -5 point less than leader Pentland Star. Clark Eriksson at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Glasgow Rocks' next round opponent will be league's leader Pentland Star and it will be for sure the game of the week. Clark Eriksson will play against the league's second-placed Polonia Phoenix (#2) in Edinburgh.
