Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The most exciting game of round 16 in the D2National League took place in Dundee. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th ranked Glasgow Rocks (8-2) to seventh ranked Tayside (2-7) 69-66 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Glasgow Rocks. Tayside moved-up to sixth place. Defending champion Glasgow Rocks keep the fourth position with two games lost. Tayside are looking forward to face league's second-placed Edinburgh Kool Kats on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Glasgow Rocks will play against Polonia Phoenix in Edinburgh and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Scotland women entered their third game of the MABA tournament looking for a win against tournament hosts, Malaysia. Scotland came into the game having won 1 out of 2 games in the tournament, whereas ranked 43rd in the world , Malaysia were unbeaten so far.
