National League Round 16: Falkirk Fury is upset by St.Mirren S. - Feb 14, 2016

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in National League.

The most important game in the last round took place in St Mirren between third ranked Falkirk Fury (11-5) and fifth ranked St.Mirren S. (10-5) on Saturday night. Falkirk Fury was crushed by St.Mirren S. on the road 93-68. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Falkirk Fury. St.Mirren S. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 10-5 record. Defending champion Falkirk Fury keeps the third place with five games lost. St.Mirren S. are looking forward to face league's leader Boroughmuir in Edinburgh in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Falkirk Fury will have a break next round.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Glasgow. First ranked Boroughmuir faced their biggest opponent Glasgow. Guests from Edinburgh (14-3) smashed host Glasgow (11-4) 72-50. Boroughmuir have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-3 record. Glasgow at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Boroughmuir will play against St.Mirren S. (#5) in St Mirren in the next round. Glasgow will play on the road against Edunburgh Kings and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Tayside managed to get a third victory, breaking the three-game losing streak on Saturday night. This time they outleveled ninth-ranked Ayrshire T. in Troon 92-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 30-point difference proves that Tayside was well-prepared to that game. Tayside (3-12) moved-up to eighth place. Loser Ayrshire T. dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. Tayside will meet at home higher ranked Glasgow Storm (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ayrshire T. will play against Falkirk Fury having rather not much hope for a victory.
The game in Glasgow was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Edinburgh U. (10-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Glasgow Storm (5-10). Edinburgh U. defeated Glasgow Storm 64-51. Edinburgh U. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 10-4 record. Glasgow Storm lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. Edinburgh U.'s next round opponent will be Dunfermline Reign (#9) at home where they are favorite. Glasgow Storm will play against Tayside and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Dunfermline was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Edunburgh Kings (7-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Dunfermline Reign (3-13). Edunburgh Kings defeated Dunfermline Reign 82-70 on Saturday. Edunburgh Kings have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 7-7 record. Dunfermline Reign lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. Edunburgh Kings will face league's second-placed Glasgow at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dunfermline Reign will play against Edinburgh U. (#4) and hope to win that game.

Glasgow Univ. - Boroughmuir 50-72
