Fifth-ranked Dunfermline Reign (6-9) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Boroughmuir (11-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Edinburgh managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected easier game. Boroughmuir have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with St.Mirren S. and Edinburgh K. Dunfermline Reign at the other side dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Edinburgh Kings (11-3) against sixth ranked Glasgow Storm (6-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Edinburgh Kings were defeated by Glasgow Storm in a tough game in Glasgow 79-85. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Edinburgh Kings. Glasgow Storm moved-up to fifth place. Edinburgh Kings at the other side keep the second position with three games lost. They share it with St.Mirren S. and Boroughmuir. Glasgow Storm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Edinburgh Kings will play at home against the league's second-placed St.Mirren S. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
