   #1. This week's number one is an experienced former international power forward Kieron Achara (208-83, agency: Two Points, college: Duquesne, currently plays in United Kingdom). He led Glasgow Rocks to a victory over the closely-ranked Plymouth Raiders (11-9) 86-75 in the British BBL in Sunday night's game. Achara was MVP of the game. He scored 19 points, had 7 rebounds, passed 4 assists and added 4 blocks in 32 minutes on the court. Glasgow Rocks (15-5) is placed third in the BBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Achara has relatively good stats this year: 13.1ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.4apg, 1.5bpg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 52.8%, 3FGP: 34.0% and FT: 86.5% in 19 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Scottish and Nigerian. Achara played for the Scottish senior national team four years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Gareth Murray (201-84, college: Kalamazoo Valley CC, currently plays in United Kingdom) is a teammate of previously mentioned Kieron Achara. But that was another game of his team in British BBL which we would like to mention. Murray was the main contributor in a Glasgow Rocks' victory against the ninth-ranked Bristol Acadamy Flyers (8-14) 74-60. He was the best player in that game. Murray scored 20 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Glasgow Rocks (15-5) is placed third in the BBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This season Murray has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 66.7%(66-99), 3FGP: 33.9% and FT: 81.0%. Former 33.3%; Dunfermline Reign starter played for the Scottish national team in 2013.

The Scottish player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard Jonathan Bunyan (182-92, currently plays in United Kingdom) is a teammate of previously mentioned Kieron Achara. However that was another game of his team in British BBL which brought him to that list. Bunyan contributed to a Glasgow Rocks' victory against the tenth-ranked Cheshire Phoenix (4-14) 95-82. He recorded 8 points in 20 minutes. Glasgow Rocks (15-5) is placed third in the BBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Bunyan's fourth season with the team. This year Bunyan averages: 5.3ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.4apg, 3FGP: 27.9% in 19 games. Former Falkirk Clark Eriksson Fury starter played for the Scottish national team three years ago.

   #4. Forward Alasdair Fraser (201-92, agency: Court Side, college: Maine, currently plays in Germany) was the major contributor in Ehingen/Urspringschule's victory against one of league's weakest teams ETB Wohnbau (5-18) 75-74 in the German ProA (second division) in Saturday night's game. He recorded 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Team Ehingen Urspring (9-15) is placed 12th in the ProA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Fraser's first season with the team. Fraser has reliable stats this year: 10.9ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1bpg. He used to play for the Scottish national team back in 2013.

   #5. Former U18 international forward Grant Mackay (201-94, currently plays in NCAA2) helped St.Anselm College win their game against the St.Michael's College 95-86 in the NCAA2 last Saturday. Mackay scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes. The St.Anselm College has a solid 12-7 record this season. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the NCAA2 Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Mackay has been at the team for four years. This season his overall stats are: 5.8ppg and 5.2rpg in 19 games. Mackay used to play for the Scottish U18 national team seven years ago.

Fury extinguish Blaze to complete SBC Triple Crown - 21 days ago
The final game and main event of Day 2 of our last event of the season, the SBC Playoff Finals, was our Senior Men's Playoff Final between the League and Cup Champions Sony Centre Fury, and last years League and Playoff Champions Boroughmuir Blaze. It was Blaze who drew first blood in this one, taking a quick 5-0 lead in the game. We headed to the Mariner Centre for one last time on Friday night for a Playoff Semi-Final between Sony Centre Fury and Glasgow Storm. With a Finals spot up for grabs, there was plenty at stake for both teams. Storm showed some nerves in the first quarter, getting off to a really slow start.
