The Regular Season in National League just ended.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Edinburgh: Boroughmuir (#3) and Edinburgh U. (#8). Edinburgh U. was smashed at home by 18 points 48-66 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Defending champion maintains third position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader Sony Centre F. Edinburgh U. lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Dunfermline R..
The game in Dunfermline was also worth to mention about. Second ranked St.Mirren S. (15-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Dunfermline Reign (6-12). St.Mirren S. managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82. St.Mirren S. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-3 record behind leader Sony Centre F. Dunfermline Reign lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Edinburgh U..
We should mention about the upset which took place in Glasgow, where higher ranked Glasgow Storm (9-9) lost to ninth ranked Glasgow (4-14) in a road game 55-62 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Glasgow Storm. Glasgow maintains ninth position with 4-14 record. Glasgow Storm at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost.

Dunfermline R. - St.Mirren S. 82-87

The final game and main event of Day 2 of our last event of the season, the SBC Playoff Finals, was our Senior Men's Playoff Final between the League and Cup Champions Sony Centre Fury, and last years League and Playoff Champions Boroughmuir Blaze. We headed to the Mariner Centre for one last time on Friday night for a Playoff Semi-Final between Sony Centre Fury and Glasgow Storm. With a Finals spot up for grabs, there was plenty at stake for both teams. Storm showed some nerves in the first quarter, getting off to a really slow start.
