St.Mirren S. (2-1) recorded its first loss on the court of sixth ranked Edinburgh Kings on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Edinburgh Kings 72-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of St.Mirren S.. Edinburgh Kings moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated St.Mirren S. Edinburgh Kings is looking forward to face league's leader Sony Centre Fury in Falkirk in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. St.Mirren S. will play on the road against Edinburgh U. and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Boroughmuir (2-1) against sixth ranked Dunfermline Reign (2-2) on Saturday night. Visiting Boroughmuir was defeated by Dunfermline Reign in a tough game in Dunfermline 65-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boroughmuir. Dunfermline Reign maintains sixth position with 2-2 record. Boroughmuir at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Sony Centre Fury's next round opponent will be Edinburgh Kings (#3) at home, which may be the game of the day. Stirling K. will play against the league's second-placed Boroughmuir (#2) in Edinburgh and hope to win that game.
