Partizan wins 11th consecutive title - Jun 15, 2012

Partizan wins 11th consecutive title in Serbia. The favorites needed four games against Crvena Zvezda to win the series.
Partizan took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-21. But Zvezda won second period 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Partizan made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Zvezda helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Milan Macvan (206-C-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds. Vladimir Lucic (202-F-89, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Petar Popovic (211-C-79) replied with 22 points and Omar Thomas (197-F-82, college: UTEP) added 23 points in the effort for Zvezda.

Radivoj Korac Cup - Another trophy for Partizan - Feb 19, 2012

Partizan MTS won 5th Serbian Cup in a row after comfortable 64:51 win against their biggest rivals Crvena zvezda Beograd.

Crvena zvezda Beograd's last lead was 19:17 in 14th minute. After 21:21 in 15th minute, Partizan used 8:0 run to open 29:21 lead and didn't allow Zvezda to tie or take lead until the end. 'Red and whites' answered with 6:0 run, but Dusan Kecman
's (197-F-77, agency: Beo Basket) three-point play in last seconds of first half allowed defending champions nice 5 point lead.
Partizan led by 3-6 points in first part of third quarter, but Zvezda closed deficit to 1 in 26th minute after their first and only three pointer (39:38). It was surprisingly scored by big man Mile Ilic (215-C-84, agency: Beo Basket). However, 'black and whites' had answer. Led by Danilo Andjusic (197-G-91, agency: Beo Basket), who scored 5 points in 8:2 run, Partizan had +7 (47:40). Crvena zvezda Beograd didn't have answer for Partizan's strong defense and scored only 2 points in opening 6 minutes of last period. Serbian and Adriatic champions were not much better offensively, but played good enogh to lead by 10. After three pointer of Dusan Kecman 3 minutes before the end, it was 57:46 and practically game over. Partizan didn't have problems to defend their lead and won 13th trophy in Cup in history.
MVP of the final was deservedly Danilo Andjusic, who used his 11 minutes in the game superbly.
