Partizan - Crvena Zvezda 65-70

Crvena Zvezda defended their KLS title. They edged Partizan at the Pionir Hall to win the championship series 3-1. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-65. 30 personal fouls committed by Partizan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. German center Maik Zirbes (208-90, agency: BeoBasket) fired 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. International forward Marko Simonovic (201-86, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Crvena Zvezda players scored in double figures. The former international forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: BeoBasket) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Kevin Jones (206-89, college: W.Virginia) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Mega Leks toppled FMP to earn the third position in KLS. Mega Leks also secured the Adriatic League birth with the success. FMP trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 20-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 73-81 at the end of the game. Mega Leks made 27-of-31 free shots (87.1 percent) during the game. Mega Leks had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mega Leks made 8 blocks. 28 personal fouls committed by FMP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was international forward Rade Zagorac (205-95, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Aleksandar Rasic (195-84, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 20 points. Five Mega Leks players scored in double figures. Stefan Lazarevic (197-96) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and Ognjen Dobric (198-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Mega Leks - Partizan 85:80

Mega Leks triumphed in the 2016 edition of Radivoj Korac Cup. They prevailed against Partizan in the Final today. Nikola Ivanovic (190-PG-94, agency: Beo Basket) fired 24 points to lead the winners.
Mega Leks eked out a 24:23 lead ten minutes into the game. Partizan pulled in front in the second period. They raced ahead for a 48:46 halftime advantage. Mega Leks regained the lead after the big break. They managed to secure a 56:54 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Mega Leks held their opponents to 16 points in the final stanza and drove to the win. Danilo Nikolic (207-F/C-93) had 18 points, while Timothe Luwawu (201-F/G-95, agency: Beo Basket) added 13 points for the winners. Edo Muric (202-F-91, agency: Beo Basket) and Vanja Marinkovic (198-SG-97, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 16 points each.
