Final tournament of Serbian Cup (Radivoj Korac Cup) will be played from Thursday to Sunday in Nis. Although surprises in Cup are not impossible, only three teams have realistic chance to win this year's tournament. There is big quality difference between teams who come from Adriatic and Serbian league and it is expected that all four semifinalists will be Adriatic league teams.

Main favourites are four times Cup winners in a row Partizan MTS, who will open final tournament against Mega Vizura. Partizan won last 14 Serbian and Adriatic finals and always finds way to win games in which trophy is at stake since 2007. Also, Partizan have by far best record of Serbian teams in Adriatic league (others have more lost than won games) and finally completed roster with arrival of Dominic James (180-PG-86, college: Marquette), who played very well in his debut for Partizan. Mega Vizura should have no chances to surprise, especially without their leader Branko Milisavljevic (193-G-76, agency: Beo Basket), who suffered knee injury and is out. Also, young star Vasilije Micic (192-PG-94, agency: Beo Basket) is injured for a long time. Mega will mostly rely on another hot prospect Nenad Miljenovic (194-G-93, agency: Beo Basket), on loan from Partizan.

Later on Thursday, Radnicki Kragujevac will face Vojvodina. Although they are leaders in Serbian league, it is difficult to see Vojvodina causing problems to Muta Nikolic's team. Radnicki have Adriatic league MVP leader David Simon (207-C-82, college: IPFW), who will dominate Vojvodina's centers. Other American Mike Scott (203-F-86, college: Kent St.) is 2nd best scorer and those two together are averaging almost 40 points per game. With pair of good guards - Steven Markovic (190-G-85) and Miljan Pavkovic (178-G-81, agency: Beo Basket) - Radnicki maybe have even the best starting line up, but their problem could be short rotation. Also, their form in last couple of games was bad.

Many expect that winner of first semifinal between (most likely) Partizan and Radnicki Kragujevac will win this year's Radivoj Korac Cup. But, Crvena zvezda Beograd will try to upset the odds and win first trophy after many years. Work of master coach Svetislav Pesic (agency: Interperformances) is obvious and Crvena zvezda Beograd improved their form significantly in 2012. They certainly have weaker roster in comparison to Partizan and Radnicki, but it didn't stop them to win in Kragujevac 86-90 in Adriatic league game recently. Their first rivals, in opening Friday's game, will be BKK Radnicki who is playing nice basketball this season, but lacks quality to surprise in Nis.

Finally, last quarterfinals game will be Hemofarm Stada -
Radnicki FMP. Hemofarm - with new coach Nebojsa Bogavac - is the weakest of all four Adriatic league teams, in financial problems and recently lost their best player Boris Savovic, who signed for Galatasaray. But, they were lucky during draw as their rivals will be the weakest team in final tournament. Radnicki FMP is second team of Crvena zvezda Beograd, full of young players and not ready to be competitive with Adriatic league teams yet.

Including competitions in ex Yugoslavia, Partizan won most trophies in Cup - 12. Black and whites are followed by Crvena zvezda (5), FMP (4), OKK Beograd (3), BKK Radnicki and IMT (1).

Quarterfinals:
(1) Partizan MTS - Mega Vizura Thursday 18:00
(2) Radnicki Kragujevac - Vojvodina Thursday 20:30
(3) Crvena zvezda Beograd - BKK Radnicki Friday 18:00
(4) Hemofarm Stada - Radnicki FMP Friday 20:30

Semifinals:
Winner 1 - Winner 2 Saturday 18:00
Winner 3 - Winner 4 Saturday 20:30

Finals:
Sunday 20:30
