Azovmash hires Aleksandar Kesar as new Head Coach - Jul 5, 2012

Azovmash got a new Head Coach for the next season. The former Ukrainian champion hired Aleksandar Kesar (agency: Beo Basket), who worked last two years as Assistant Coach of Dusan Ivkovic (agency: Beo Basket) in Olympiakos. They had wonderful season winning the Euroleague and Greek league titles. In 2011, the Reds won Greek Cup. Before Olympiakos, Aleksandar Kesar spent few months as a Head Coach of Ural Great Perm in 2008/09 season. A year before that he coached Serbian team Mega Aqua Monta Belgrade. From 2004 to 2007, Kesar served as Assistant Coach of Partizan Belgrade. In 2009, he won the Gold with Serbian University NT at the World University Games. Kesar was named Eurobasket.com All-World University Games Best Coach. He also worked last few years as Assistant Coach of the Serbian National Team.

Serbia U19 -Argentina U19 72:54 Serbia U19 fire past Argentina U19 in Game 1. The European side posted a comfortable 72:54 victory. Serbia won the first period 20-14 and dominated the first half.
