Azovmash got a new Head Coach for the next season. The former Ukrainian champion hired Aleksandar Kesar (agency: Beo Basket), who worked last two years as Assistant Coach of Dusan Ivkovic (agency: Beo Basket) in Olympiakos. They had wonderful season winning the Euroleague and Greek league titles. In 2011, the Reds won Greek Cup. Before Olympiakos, Aleksandar Kesar spent few months as a Head Coach of Ural Great Perm in 2008/09 season. A year before that he coached Serbian team Mega Aqua Monta Belgrade. From 2004 to 2007, Kesar served as Assistant Coach of Partizan Belgrade. In 2009, he won the Gold with Serbian University NT at the World University Games. Kesar was named Eurobasket.com All-World University Games Best Coach. He also worked last few years as Assistant Coach of the Serbian National Team.
Oliver Stevic (204-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket), who played excellent season in Stalmet Zielena Gora, won Poland league, have great Eurocup season with this club will join Turkish Gaziantep.In Poland league Stevic played 40 games, avarage minutes per game 26.9, 12.4 points per game, 58.8 % for two points, 71.2 % for free throw line, 7.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals, 0.6 block.In Eurocup in 12 games, Stevic have 31.3 minutes per game, 13.8 points, 59.8 % for two, 72 [read more]

The Azzurri cut the deficit to five points early in the final stanza but Serbia hung on to cruise to the victory at the end. Djordje Drenovac (208-G/F-92, agency: Interperformances) notched 14 points, while Stefan Nastic (211-C-92) and Stefan Jovic (199-PG-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) finished with 12 points each for Serbia.
