Serbia made a big step towards Quarterfinals in Bucharest. They handed 75-63 loss to Croatia in their opening game of Stage Two at U18 EuroBasket. After this win Serbia jumped to 2-1 in Group F, while Croatia fell to 1-2. Third quarter was the crucial one in this meeting. Croatia was up by 3 at the halftime, but Serbia created 21-7 in Q3 and later managed to keep the lead for rest of the way. Serbia reached plus 17 during the last ten minutes. Aleksandra Stanacev (167-PG-94) shined with 19 points and 8 assists in victory, while Natasa Kovacevic (187-F-94) and Dragana Stankovic (188-PF-95) (7 rebs) posted 14 and 13 points respectively. Andrijana Cvitkovic (189-PF-94) answered with 19 points and 7 rebounds in loss. Lana Packovski (170-G-94) (5 rebs) and Ana-Marija Begic (190-C-94) (8 rebs) netted 13 and 10 pts respectively. Serbia will play against Holland tomorrow and it could be the crucial game for the Quarterfinals. Croatia will take on Italy (2-1).
Maja Vucurovic (188-F-91) stays with Waregem for another season. The Serbian player will continue in Belgium in 2013/2014 season.

She joined them in January registering 13.9 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.1 apg and 1.3 spg for 17 games. Vucurovic started the season with Spanish Celta Vigo, but did not appear in any official game with them. Maja Vucurovic won the Polish league title a year ago with TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow. She had limited playing time, but did a good job for the minutes she was getting. Vucurovic played for Wisla also in 2009/10 and they reached Euroleague Semifinals. In the past, Vucurovic successfully played for Serbian youth National Teams. In 2012-2013 for Declercq Stortbeton Waregem she averaged 10.9 points per game.

Kristina Semeredi (185-G-77) wins the title in FYR Macedonia as her Krosig are the new Prva Liga champions. They defeated Vigor Skopje in the fourth game of the title series to win it 3-1. Elena Radenkovic nailed 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to pace the winners.

Chrissy Givens orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Jennifer Risper contributed with 24 points and 4 assists for the winners. Matee Ajavon answered with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Ksenia Tikhonenko added 15 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for CSM Targoviste. Four ICIM Arad and five CSM Targoviste players scored in double figures. In 2011-2012 for BC ICIM Arad (Romania-D1, starting five) Suzana Milovanovic averaged 10.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.1apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 59.1%, 3PT: 24.4%, FT: 69.7%.
