Anadolu Efes reportedly wants to sign Marko Keselj - Sep 10, 2012

Marko Keselj (206-SF-88, agency: Beo Basket) could become a new member of Anadolu Efes soon. According to Turkish media, two sides are close to agree 1+1 year deal. Eurohoops reported that Keselj should earn 600k euros for the first year and 800k euros for the second one. Recently, Valencia and Spartak St. Petersburg showed interest for the player. Marko Keselj spent last two seasons with Olympiakos. In the latest one they won Euroleague and Greek league titles. The Serbian National Team forward had 3.9 ppg and 2 rpg in 14 Euroleague games. He also added 5.8 ppg and 2.5 rpg for 26 appearances in domestic championship. In 2011, the Reds won Greek Cup. Before Olympiakos, Marko Keselj played two years for Crvena Zvezda. In the past, he also was a member of Koln 99ers, Girona, OKK Beograd and Avala Ada. In 2007 with Girona Keselj won FIBA EuroCup title. He is active member of the Serbian National Team since 2010. Keselj averaged 11.1 points and 3.1 rebounds for 9 games at FIBA World Championship in Turkey two years ago, while Serbia reached Semifinals. Last summer in Lithuania the player had 9.1 ppg and 3.5 rpg for 11 appearances. This summer Keselj averages 4.6 points and 3 rebounds after 7 games in 2013 EuroBasket Qualifications.

73-year old Serbian coach Dusan Ivkovic (agency: BeoBasket) who was Head Coach last time at Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Turkey decided to retire after many years in international basketball. He won President Cup with Turkish powerhouse this season. Among other achievements Ivkovic received Eurobasket.com All-Europe Coach of the Year award back in 2012.
