C.U.S. Chieti is set to return to Italian A1 league, who has signed 24-year old Serbian center Jefimija Karakasevic. Karakasevic played last season for Vozdovac from Belgrade in Serbian and Adriatic League. Last season is Adriatic league,she averaged 8.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.She has played previously for Vojvodina Nis Gas Novi Sad , Mladi Krajisnik Banja Luka and Partizan Galenika Beograd. Karakasevic was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. She played for Serbian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U20 National Team in 2009. Karakasevic represented Serbia at the Qualifications to European Championships 2011 two years ago.Karakasevic was among the initial list of candidates to play for Serbian National Team this summer, but didnt make it through the camp.

Chicago Sky released 24-year old Serbian international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-74kg-89).
This season Petrovic played at Spartak Vidnoye (PBL) in Russian league. In 22 games she had 5.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0spg this season. Chicago Sky released 24-year old Serbian international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-74kg-89). This season Petrovic played at Spartak Vidnoye (PBL) in Russian league. In 22 games she had 5.9ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.9apg and 1.0spg this season. She helped them to make it to both league and cup finals after they ended regular season as second best team. Petrovic also played 15 games in EuroLeague where she recorded 5.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg. In 2009 she was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in second round (26th overall). The list of the past achievements is quite long as Petrovic was voted Eurobasket.com All-European Championships U20 2nd Team back in 2009. She was also a member of Serbian international program for some years. Petrovic played for Serbian Senior National Team between 2006 and 2011 and previously for U19 National Team in 2007. She represented Serbia at the European Championships U20 in Gdynia (Poland) four years ago. But her stats at that event were not that impressive as she did not score anything. Kristina Semeredi (185-G-77) wins the title in FYR Macedonia as her Krosig are the new Prva Liga champions. They defeated Vigor Skopje in the fourth game of the title series to win it 3-1. Elena Radenkovic nailed 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to pace the winners.

Kristina Semeredi and Sofija Lazareska chipped in 10 points each for the home team. Sanja Radenkovic responded with 13 points for Vigor. Andrijana Leskaroska and Slavica Dimovska had 8 points apiece in the loss.
