Macedonian Prva Liga team Kozuv Gevgelija completed the team signing the contracts with three more players. Playmaker Sasa Djordjevic (190-G-85) agreed terms with this team until end of season so coach Marjan Srbinovski got important player on most sensitive spot in the team. Djordjevic is coming to Gevgelija after a season spent shortly in Iran and his hometown team Sloga Kraljevo. He is well known as master in pick&roll game and his very good shooting abilities. He is very good passer too and could drive to the basket at anytime he wants. He has experience of playing in top leagues of Serbia, Poland, Cyprus, Iran and Denmark where had an all-star player status. Slobodan Bozovic (207-F/C-79) is another key signing for the team. Veteran power forward has a lot of experience of playing on highest level including Euroleague with Partizan Belgrade and also leagues in Slovenia, Cyprus, Greece and Iranian Superleague most recently. Latest addition is deadly shooter Miladin Pekovic (196-G/F-83, agency: BeoExcell) at swingman position. Experienced Pekovic is also playing his first season in Macedonia and brings experience of playing in EuroChallenge, Germany, Cyprus, Romania and Serbia of course. Kozuv Gevgelija already had two Serbian players in the team - Zivanovic and Vladimir Filipovic (195-G-85).

Nemanja Todorovic (205-C/F-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Borac, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1 (Second Stage). The 25-year old player had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Dynamic BG (#3, 0-1) 75-64. It allowed Borac to consolidate first place in the Serbian KLS. But it's just the very beginning of the Second Stage and Borac won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. It was one of impressive evenings for Todorovic as usually he does not deliver so high stats.
The second best player in last round's games was 32-year old Montenegrin Milko Bjelica (207-F/C-84, agency: BeoBasket) of Crvena Zvezda. Bjelica had a very good evening with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Of course he led Crvena Zvezda to another comfortable win outscoring Spartak (0-1) 89-54. His team has extremely good start of the Second Stage. They won their first game. However the Second Stage is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Bjelica is a newcomer at Crvena Zvezda, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was Australian forward Jonah Bolden (208-F-96) of FMP (#6). Bolden scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of FMP, leading his team to a 90-70 easy win against Mega Leks (#8, 0-1). FMP has a very good start of the Second Stage. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Bolden also has a very good start of the Second Stage with very strong stats. The season just started for Bolden as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
