There were just five rounds played in Regular Season of A League and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory.

The game between third ranked Radnicki Basket (3-2) and fourth ranked Sloboda (4-1) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Radnicki Basket was defeated by Sloboda in a tough game in Uzice 61-70. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Radnicki Basket trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 18-14 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-70 at the end of the game. Center Slavko Stefanovic (206-81, agency: BeoExcell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. Guard Nikola Otasevic (184-82, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Montenegrin center Maksim Sturanovic (209-88, agency: Beo Basket) answered with 12 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for Radnicki Basket. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sloboda moved-up to second place, which they share with Mega Vizura. Radnicki Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Sloboda is looking forward to face Tamis (#8) in Pancevo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Radnicki Basket will play at home against Metalac (#6) in Valjevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Sloga's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after four consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Tamis (3-2) 83-79.
