21-year old power forward Nemanja Radovic (206-F/C-91, agency: Beo Basket) had a very impressive game in the last round for Vrsac and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds, while his team edged out Smederevo (#14, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 77-75. Vrsac is placed at 5th position in Serbian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Vrsac will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Radovic had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Vrsac's top player in his first season with the team. Radovic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.2ppg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 67.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marko Popovic (193-G-84) of Sloga. He is naturalized Bosnia and Herzegovina guard in his first season at Sloga. In the last game Popovic recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 12 assists. It was enough for Sloga to edge the higher-ranked Tamis (#8, 3-2) by 4 points 83-79. Sloga's 13th position in the standings has not changed. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Sloga managed to get this year. Popovic is a newcomer at Sloga and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Boban Marjanovic (222-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) of league's second-best Mega Vizura. Marjanovic scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He was a key player of Mega Vizura, leading his team to a 94-74 easy win against the lower-ranked Jagodina (#12, 1-4). Mega Vizura is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Marjanovic has a great season in Serbia. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.6ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 11.2rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Stefan Djordjevic (206-C-89) of Smederevo - 25 points and 8 rebounds
5. Branko Jereminov (187-G-87) of Tamis - 21 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Mladen Pantic (209-C-82) of Borac - 17 points and 15 rebounds
7. Nikola Tomasevic (192-G-90) of Metalac - 18 points and 6 rebounds
8. Dusan Vuletic (207-C-90) of Sloga - 16 points and 3 rebounds
9. Nemanja Krstic (198-SF-93) of Mega Vizura - 16 points and 5 rebounds
10. Bogic Vujosevic (189-PG-92) of BKK Radnicki - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
