Point guard Aleksandra Stanacev (167-PG-94) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Crvena Zvezda, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 18-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, nine rebounds and six assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Beocin (#9, 2-4) 78-69. It allowed Crvena Zvezda to take over top position in the Serbian A League. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Crvena Zvezda already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. It's Stanacev's second year at Crvena Zvezda and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Aleksandra Stanacev has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 17.3ppg) and averages impressive 2.7spg,66.7% FGP and 47.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Hristina Marjanovic (170-G-92) of Sumadija KG. Marjanovic had a very good evening with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Sumadija KG lost that game 64-72 to slightly higher-ranked Student (#6, 3-4). This loss caused Sumadija KG to drop to 8th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Marjanovic is a newcomer at Sumadija KG, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Zorana Nikolic (166-G-92) of Stara Pazova (#10). Nikolic showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Nikolic's great performance Stara Pazova lost 60-69 to the higher-ranked Sabac (#3, 5-2). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Stara Pazova can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Nikolic she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Nikolic has a very solid season. In 7 games in Serbia she scored 11.9ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jelena Jakovljevic (179-G/F-95) of Beocin - 17 points and 4 rebounds
5. Mina Jovanovic (175-G-89) of Crvena Zvezda - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jelena Prvulovic (175-G-91) of Radnicki KG - 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
7. Marija Ilic (190-C-85) of Student - 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Renata Cosic (170-F-87) of Sabac - 24 points and 3 rebounds
9. Aleksandra Crvendakic (188-F/C-96) of Crvena Zvezda - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Ivana Jovovic (185-F-89) of Vrbas Medela - 25 points and 4 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Knezevic comes back to Campus Promete - 1 day ago
Campus Promete Logrono (LFB) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old Serbian international forward Adrijana Knezevic (183-87). There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in 1 ZLS. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Spartak (1-1) in Subotica on Monday night.
