There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most important game in the last round took place in Nis between third ranked Sloboda (6-4) and fifth ranked Konstantin (6-4) on Wednesday night. Sloboda was crushed by Konstantin on the road 89-66. The game was mostly controlled by Konstantin. Sloboda managed to win second period 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Konstantin shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. Guard Vladimir Velickovic (178-89) fired 10 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Power forward Ilija Cvetkovic (207-88, agency: Prossin Sports Management) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Nikola Jevtovic (208-89) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Konstantin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Vrsac and Sloboda Uzice. Konstantin is looking forward to face Metalac (#8) in Valjevo in the next round where they are favorite. Sloboda will play at home against Smederevo Vizura (#13) and is hoping to win this game.

Worth to mention a great performance of international center Boban Marjanovic (222-88, agency: Beo Basket) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Nemanja Dangubic contributed with 21 points and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Vladimir Popovic (190-82) replied with 20 points and 4 assists for OKK Beograd. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
