Seventh-ranked Radnicki Basket (5-6) used its home court advantage to challenge first ranked Mega Vizura (10-1) in Beograd on Saturday. The visitors from Vizura managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-20. But Radnicki Basket won second period 20-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Mega Vizura won last quarter 23-22. Mega Vizura outrebounded Radnicki Basket 37-23 including a 28-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mega Vizura looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. International center Boban Marjanovic (222-88, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 20 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). point guard Vasilije Micic (191-94, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Mega Vizura's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) answered with 18 points for Radnicki Basket. Mega Vizura have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Mega Vizura maintains first place with 10-1 record. Radnicki Basket at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Mega Vizura is looking forward to face Tamis (#9) in Pancevo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Radnicki Basket will play on the road against Vrsac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Valjevo. Eighth ranked Metalac (6-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Konstantin (6-5) 73-70 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Konstantin. It was a great evening for swingman Dragan Kruscic (198-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Stefan Zivanovic helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Vladimir Velickovic (178-89) responded with 12 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Metalac moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vrsac and Konstantin. Metalac will play against Smederevo Vizura (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Konstantin will play against OKK Beograd (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Vojvodina (9-2) against tenth ranked Tamis (5-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Vojvodina was defeated by Tamis in Pancevo 93-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vojvodina. It was an exceptional evening for Slobodan Lalic who led the winners and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Tamis' coach Nebojsa Biro allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Ognjen Kuzeta came up with 14 points for Vojvodina in the defeat. Tamis moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Vojvodina keeps the second position with two games lost. Tamis will meet league's leader Mega Vizura on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vojvodina will play against Borac in Cacak and hope to secure a win.
Bottom-ranked Sloga managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of five consecutive loses. This time they won against twelfth-ranked KK Jagodina in Kraljevo 87-77. The best player for the winners was Mitar Trivunovic who scored 26 points and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sloga maintains fourteenth place with 2-9 record. KK Jagodina lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with eight games lost. Sloga's next round opponent will be higher ranked BKK Radnicki (#7) in Beograd and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Vrsac (6-5) and OKK Beograd (5-6), which took place in Beograd. 4th placed Vrsac lost to eleventh ranked OKK Beograd in a road game 113-122 on Saturday. Aleksej Nesovic orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points and 8 assists. Vrsac's coach Oliver Popovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. OKK Beograd moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Vrsac lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. OKK Beograd will face higher ranked Konstantin (#5) in Nis in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vrsac will play at home against Radnicki Basket in Beograd.

In the last two games of round 11 Smederevo was beaten by Sloboda Uzice on the road 84-80. BKK Radnicki won against Borac on its own court 90-86.


Tamis - Vojvodina 93-78

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Vojvodina (9-2) against tenth ranked Tamis (5-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Vojvodina was defeated by Tamis in Pancevo 93-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vojvodina. The game without a history. Tamis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Slobodan Lalic (197-86, agency: Beo Basket) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Dejan Majstorovic (196-88) accounted for 22 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) for the winning side. Tamis' coach Nebojsa Biro allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ognjen Kuzeta (194-87) came up with 14 points and power forward Dragan Zekovic (210-87, agency: Beo Basket) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Vojvodina in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tamis moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Vojvodina keeps the second position with two games lost. Tamis will meet league's leader Mega Vizura on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vojvodina will play against Borac in Cacak and hope to secure a win.

Metalac - Konstantin 73-70

Important game to mention about took place in Valjevo. Eighth ranked Metalac (6-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Konstantin (6-5) 73-70 in the game for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Konstantin. It looked good early as Konstantin took an 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Metalac had a 30-12 second period charge getting the lead and Konstantin was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 70-73. Konstantin was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for swingman Dragan Kruscic (198-86) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Guard Stefan Zivanovic (196-89) helped adding 14 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Vladimir Velickovic (178-89) responded with 12 points and 4 assists and forward Danilo Tasic (202-93) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Metalac moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vrsac and Konstantin. No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Sloboda (7-4) beat 13th ranked Smederevo Vizura (3-8) in Uzice 84-80 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 27-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Guard Aleksandar Vasic (185-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. Swingman Marko Ljubojevic (202-84) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Sloboda players scored in double figures. Sloboda's coach Vladimir Djokic used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Center Stefan Djordjevic (206-89) answered with 27 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and point guard Marko Popadic (190-89) added 28 points in the effort for Smederevo Vizura. Guard Marko Boltic (193-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 9 assists. point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Vrsac (6-5) and OKK Beograd (5-6), which took place in Beograd. 4th placed Vrsac lost to eleventh ranked OKK Beograd in a road game 113-122 on Saturday. OKK Beograd forced 19 Vrsac turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Vrsac's players. Vrsac was plagued by 40 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Bosnian point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, agency: Beo Basket) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points and 8 assists. Stanoje Knezevic (202-89) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Power forward Vladimir Vuksanovic (206-78) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (202-90) added 22 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Vrsac. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Vrsac's coach Oliver Popovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. OKK Beograd moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Vrsac lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with five games lost. OKK Beograd will face higher ranked Konstantin (#5) in Nis in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vrsac will play at home against Radnicki Basket in Beograd.
