Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Nenad Krstic (212-83, currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Russian team CSKA Moscow to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Besiktas (4-5) 87-72 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Krstic scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes on the court. CSKA Moscow (8-1) is placed second in group D. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Krstic has relatively good stats this year: 13.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 2FGP: 64.9%(37-57) and FT: 72.9% in the eight games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nenad Krstic and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Teodosic managed to help CSKA Moscow to win against the closely-ranked Besiktas (4-5) 87-72. He scored 5 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 11 assists. Teodosic is currently fifth on the list of best passers. This season he averages: 10.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 5.3apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 52.9%, 3FGP: 28.6%. Teodosic is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Turkey. Stimac could not help one of league's weakest teams Banvit BK (3-2) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance Banvit BK was defeated 84-70 at home by the leading Valencia Basket. Stimac was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 6 rebounds. Stimac's team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Stimac has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.4ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.2apg, 2FGP: 69.2%(36-52) and FT: 52.6%. Stimac is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88, currently plays in VTB United League) led his Ukrainian team Azovmash to a victory over the tenth-ranked Kalev/Cramo (1-7) 76-71 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. He was MVP of the game. Raduljica recorded 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 31 minutes. Azovmash Mariupol (2-5) is placed eighth in group A. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. This year Raduljica has relatively solid stats: 13.6ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.3apg and 1.6spg in the seven games. He is also Serbian national team player.

International point guard Aleksandar Rasic (195-84, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Unicaja Malaga (7-2) 91-72 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Rasic scored 10 points and added 3 passes. Montepaschi Siena (5-4) is placed third in group B. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. It's Rasic's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 3.2ppg and 1.2apg. Rasic plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Forward Cedomir Vitkovac (201-82, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Buducnost (3-2) in their game against Gescrap BB (5-0) in the Eurocup. Despite his very good performance on Wednesday night Vitkovac was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 8 rebounds. Vitkovac's team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Regular Season. Vitkovac has reliable stats this season: 10.4ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.6apg. He is a former university international player as he played for the Serbian team five years ago.

International power forward Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Eurocup) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Trefl Sopot (1-4) crushing them 103-82 in the Eurocup in Tuesday night's game. Macvan scored 10 points in 16 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul (4-1) is placed first in the Eurocup. His team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Regular Season. This year Macvan's overall stats are: 9.4ppg and 2.2rpg in the five games. He is also Serbian national team player.

   #8. Center Milovan Rakovic (208-85, currently plays in Eurocup) faced previously mentioned Cedomir Vitkovac in the Eurocup last game. Rakovic contributed to a 2-point Gescrap BB's victory against the closely-ranked Buducnost (3-2) 68-66. He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 16 minutes. Rakovic's team will play only one more game in the Eurocup Regular Season. This year Rakovic's total stats are: 8.0ppg and 5.8rpg in the five games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Former University international guard Djordje Micic (195-83, currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in a 2-point PGE Turow's victory against the ninth-ranked Polpharma (3-8) 77-75 in the Polish TBL in Friday night's game. He scored 15 points and added 6 assists in 26 minutes. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (8-2) is placed first in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Micic averaged so far 10.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 3.6apg in the nine games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team five years ago.

Power forward Dusko Savanovic (204-83, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to secure a victory for Anadolu Efes (5-4) in their game against Caja Laboral (3-6) in the Euroleague. Savanovic scored 7 points. The third-placed Anadolu Efes was defeated 91-76 on their home court in Istanbul by the lower-ranked Caja Laboral (#4) in the group C of Euroleague. His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. Savanovic has averaged so far 7.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. Former University international power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) couldn't help Halychyna in their game against DniproAzot in the Ukrainian Superleague, despite his very good performance last Friday. Vukosavljevic had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 15 rebounds in 33 minutes. But his team was edged 70-69. Vukosavljevic averaged so far 14.2ppg and 8.7rpg in the 18 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team five years ago.

   #12. University international center Dusko Bunic (206-89, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup) is a teammate of previously mentioned Cedomir Vitkovac and both played together in the last Eurocup game. Bunic couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Buducnost in their game against Gescrap BB. Despite his very good performance last Wednesday He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Bunic also added 5 rebounds. Bunic has averaged so far 7.0ppg and 2.0rpg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team last year.

   #13. University international guard Slobodan Dundjerski (188-88, agency: Alti Sport, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Gaz Metan in their game against CSU Sibiu in the Romanian Division A, despite his very good performance on Saturday night. Dundjerski recorded 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in 37 minutes. But his team lost in an overtime 93-98. Dundjerski is currently fifth on the list of best passers with 5.2apg. This year his other stats are: 12.7ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.3spg in the 12 games. Dundjerski used to play for the Serbian university national team last year.

   #14. Former University international forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85, currently plays in Adriatic League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Cedomir Vitkovac. But that was another game of his team in Adriatic League which we would like to mention. Milosevic contributed to Buducnost's victory against the closely-ranked Zvezda 72-63. He scored 8 points, had 7 boards, dished 5 assists and stole 3 balls. Milosevic has averaged so far 3.5ppg and 3.9rpg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #15. University international power forward Sava Lesic (205-88, currently plays in Ukraine) couldn't help Khimik in their game against Ferro-ZNTU in the Ukrainian Superleague. Lesic scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 23 minutes. His team lost 91-105. He averaged so far 10.9ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4spg in the 16 games. Lesic used to play for the Serbian university national team last year.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Oliver Stevic (204-F/C-84, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in a Stelmet ZG's victory against the league outsider Rosa Radom (3-9) 110-92 in the Polish TBL last Saturday. Stevic recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 3 assists. Stelmet Zielona Gora (7-4) is placed fourth in the TBL. Stevic is currently sixth on the list of best rebounders. This season he averages: 9.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.5apg and 1.4spg.

   #2. Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League) led his Russian team CSKA Moscow to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked BC Nizhny Novgorod (4-3) crushing them 83-60 in the VTB United League on Sunday night. Micov recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. CSKA Moscow (6-1) is placed first in group B. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Micov averages: 8.1ppg and 3.1rpg in the seven games he played so far.

   #3. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83, currently plays in Balkan League) led his Bulgarian team Levski Sofia to a victory over the league leader Galil Gilboa (4-2) 87-79 in the Balkan League last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Marinovic recorded 32 points (!!!) and added 4 assists in 30 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Levski Sofia (3-1) is placed third in the Balkan League. There are only three games left until the end of the Balkan League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Marinovic is ranked eighth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best passers (second place). He has very reliable stats this year: 14.8ppg, 2.5rpg, 5.5apg and 2.0spg in the four games.

   #4. Milos Miljkovic (204-F/C-84, currently plays in Slovenia) was the main contributor in Rogaska's victory against the seventh-ranked Geoplin Slovan (3-5) 79-65 in the Slovenian Telemach League in Saturday night's game. He was MVP of the game. Miljkovic had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 10 rebounds in 38 minutes. Rogaska Crystal (6-2) is placed third in the Telemach League. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Miljkovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #9) and also on the list of best rebounders (first place). He has very reliable stats this year: 14.0ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.1apg and 1.6spg in the eight games.

   #5. Experienced Jovo Stanojevic (208-C-77, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help TED Kolejliler (3-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Stanojevic's very good performance TED Kolejliler was edged 70-68 on the road by the higher-ranked Aliaga (#6). He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 13 rebounds. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. It's Stanojevic's first year with the team. Stanojevic is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league. He has individually a very good season with high stats. Stanojevic averages: 20.0ppg, 6.5rpg and 3.4apg.

   #6. Nikola Gacesa (205-F-87, college: TCU, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to Helios' victory against the closely-ranked Maribor Messer 85-78 in the Slovenian Telemach League last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 12 rebounds (made all of his five free throws) in 26 minutes. Gacesa is currently seventh on the league's list of top scorers with 15.0ppg. This year he also averages: 6.6rpg in the five games.

   #7. Rade Dzambic (188-G-80, agency: TSS Management, college: NYIT, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Craiova's victory against the seventh-ranked Rovinari 82-71 in the Romanian Division A last Wednesday. Dzambic was the best player in that game. He scored 32 points (!!!) and added 7 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Dzambic is currently seventh on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (second place). This season he has very high stats. Dzambic averages: 16.5ppg, 5.4rpg and 6.3apg.

   #8. Ivan Ivanovic (205-F-80, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in EuroChallenge) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked TU/Rock crushing them 81-58 in the EuroChallenge on Tuesday night. He was the best player in that game. Ivanovic had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 12 rebounds in 29 minutes. He averaged so far 10.4ppg, 5.6rpg and 2.8apg in the five games. Ivanovic has a dual citizenship: Montenegrin and Serbian.

   #9. Dusan Djordjevic (195-G-83, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Belgium was not able to help Base Oostende (2-3) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his very good performance Base Oostende was edged in an overtime 101-100 in Athens by the lower-ranked Panionios (#4). Djordjevic was the top scorer with 20 points. He also added made 8 passes and 3 steals (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Djordjevic's total stats this season are: 9.8ppg, 2.2rpg, 4.8apg and 1.4spg. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Montenegrin.

   #10. Marko Spica (205-C/F-86, college: Cent.Michigan, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Soproni 88-69 in the Hungarian A Division on Saturday night. Spica was the best player in that game. He recorded 26 points (!!!) and grabbed 7 rebounds. Spica is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league. This season he has very high stats. Spica averages: 21.7ppg, 6.9rpg, 2.0apg and 2.0spg.
