Igor Rakocevic (191-G-78) scored 22 points to pace Crvena Zvezda to the 10th win in the Adriatic League season. They knocked down Zadar in Belgrade tonight.
Crvena Zvezda and Zadar stayed close throughout the opening quarter. The Croatian team eked out a 22:21 lead after ten minutes. The hosts however denied the deficit in the second frame. Crvena Zvezda pulled ahead and established a 44:37 halftime advantage. Zadar stayed within striking distance throughout the third quarter. The Croats narrowed the gap at 4-point mark with ten minutes to go. Crvena Zvezda used a 7:0 run midway through the fourth period to take a 9-point advantage. The margin grew at 12-point mark soon. Crvena Zvezda stayed in charge throughout the remaining time and sealed the victory at the end. Rasko Katic (208-C-80, agency: Beo Basket) provided 15 points, while Bojan Subotic (203-F-90) added 12 points for the winning side. Romeo Travis (201-PF-84, college: Akron) answered with 25 points and 11 rebounds for Zadar. Marko Ramljak (201-PF-93, agency: Interperformances) contributed 10 points in defeat.

BC Partizan NiS Beograd (KLS) is close to land 28-year old Serbian guard Stefan Sinovec (195-88, agency: BeoBasket) who played last time at Krka Novo Mesto in Slovenia. It is actually his comeback to Partizan as he has played here before. He managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). In 15 Liga Nova KBM games he averaged 8.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 3.3apg.
