   #1. This week's number one is an international center Nenad Krstic (212-83, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in a CSKA Moscow's victory against the sixth-ranked Anadolu Efes (1-1) 90-71 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Krstic recorded 22 points in 25 minutes on the court. CSKA Moscow (2-0) is placed second in group E. Krstic is currently ninth on the league's list of top scorers with 14.6ppg. He also averaged so far 4.2rpg, 2FGP: 66.7%(52-78) and FT: 76.1% in the 11 games he played so far. Krstic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Dusko Savanovic (204-83, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey). He led Anadolu Efes to a victory over the eighth-ranked Tofas (6-8) crushing them 94-71 in the Turkish TBL last Monday. Savanovic was MVP of the game. He recorded 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (11-2) is placed third in the TBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This season Savanovic averages: 9.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 59.7%(40-67), 3FGP: 22.9% and FT: 77.8%. He is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nenad Krstic. But that was another game of his team in Euroleague which we would like to mention. Teodosic was the main contributor in a CSKA Moscow's victory against the seventh-ranked ALBA Berlin (0-2) 75-57. He was the best player in that game. Teodosic scored 17 points in 28 minutes. CSKA Moscow (2-0) is placed second in group E. Teodosic has relatively good stats this year: 10.9ppg, 2.3rpg, 4.4apg, 1.6spg, 3FGP: 33.9% and FT: 89.7% in the 12 games. He is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to a 1-point Caja Laboral's victory against the eighth-ranked Maccabi T-A (0-2) 71-70 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Bjelica was the top player that evening. He scored 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Caja Laboral Vitoria (2-0) is placed third in group F. This season Bjelica has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.1apg. He is also Serbian national team player.

Former University international power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish TBL could not help Stelmet ZG (10-5) in their last game. Despite Borovnjak's very good performance Stelmet ZG lost 95-99 on the road to the lower-ranked (#9) Siarka Jezioro. He had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 10 rebounds in 36 minutes. It's Borovnjak's first season with the team. Borovnjak has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 25.0ppg and 7.0rpg in the two games. Borovnjak used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

   #6. Power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) contributed to a 2-point Halychyna's victory against the closely-ranked Azovmash (17-7) 80-78 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Wednesday. He was the top player that evening. Vukosavljevic recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 12 rebounds. He also added 3 blocks. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Politekhnika-Halychyna Lviv (15-10) is placed fourth in the Superleague. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Vukosavljevic has very high stats. He averages: 15.7ppg and 9.3rpg. Vukosavljevic is a former university international player as he played for the Serbian team six years ago.

International center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to a Banvit BK's victory against the closely-ranked Galatasaray (10-2) 74-67 in the Turkish TBL on Sunday night. He recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 20 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (12-2) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Stimac is currently third on the league's list of best rebounders with 8.3rpg. This year his other stats are: 9.3ppg in the 14 games. Stimac is also Serbian national team player.

   #8. Power forward Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Turkey) faced previously mentioned Vladimir Stimac in the Turkish TBL last game. Macvan, who plays in the Turkish TBL was not able to help Galatasaray (10-2) in their last game. Despite his good performance Galatasaray lost 67-74 in Balikesir to the second-ranked Banvit BK. Macvan recorded 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. Macvan has reliable stats this year: 10.2ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.4apg in the 13 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #9. Former University international power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) was not able to secure a victory for Azovmash (17-7) in their game against Hoverla (14-11) in the Ukrainian Superleague, despite his very good performance in Friday night's game. He scored 21 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 40 minutes. But Azovmash lost in a double overtime (!!!) 98-107 in Frankivsk to the lower-ranked (#5) Hoverla. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Dragicevic's overall stats are: 9.7ppg, 5.1rpg and 1.7apg in the 23 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

   #10. Guard Stefan Markovic (194-88, currently plays in Spain) helped Valencia Basket win their game against the tenth-ranked Unicaja Malaga (8-7) 82-64 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Markovic scored 9 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Valencia Basket (11-4) is placed third in the ACB. Markovic's total stats this season are: 4.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. Former international forward Luka Bogdanovic (210-85, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain) helped Cajasol win their game against the closely-ranked Blancos de Rueda crushing them 94-57 in the Spanish ACB in Sunday night's game. Bogdanovic was the top player that evening. He scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Bogdanovic averaged so far 10.3ppg and 3.2rpg. He used to play for the Serbian national team four years ago.

   #12. Former University international point guard Vukasin Aleksic (184-85, currently plays in Poland) helped PGE Turow win their game against the ninth-ranked Siarka Jezioro 95-81 in the Polish TBL last Thursday. Aleksic scored 14 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 35 minutes. This year Aleksic's total stats are: 7.1ppg, 2.1rpg and 3.1apg in the 14 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #13. International center Milovan Rakovic (208-85, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Gescrap BB in their game against CAI Zaragoza in the Spanish ACB. Rakovic scored 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. His team was defeated 81-74. Rakovic has averaged so far 7.2ppg and 2.5rpg. He is also Serbian national team player.

   #14. Former University international forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85, currently plays in Adriatic League) helped his Montenegrin team Buducnost win their game against the closely-ranked MZT Skopje 76-69 in the Adriatic League last Saturday. Milosevic was the top player that evening. He recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Milosevic has averaged so far 4.6ppg and 3.9rpg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #15. International center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88, currently plays in Ukraine) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tadija Dragicevic. However that was another game of his team in Ukrainian Superleague which brought him to that list. Raduljica helped Azovmash win their game against the league outsider BC Kyiv 90-86. He scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds and made 3 blocks. Raduljica averaged so far 12.3ppg and 5.1rpg. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked ALBA Berlin (0-2) 75-57 in the Euroleague on Friday night. He scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. CSKA Moscow (2-0) is placed second in group E. Micov's overall stats this season are: 5.4ppg, 2.8rpg and 1.4apg.

   #2. Experienced Jovo Stanojevic (208-C-77, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) was the major contributor in a 3-point TED Kolejliler's victory against the closely-ranked Mersin (7-5) 88-85 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Stanojevic also added 4 assists in 37 minutes. TED Kolejliler Ankara (8-5) is placed seventh in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Stanojevic is ranked second on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (seventh place). He has individually a very good year with high stats. Stanojevic averages: 19.8ppg, 6.8rpg and 3.0apg in the 13 games he played so far.

   #3. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83, currently plays in Bulgaria) led Levski Sofia to a victory over the closely-ranked Balkan (6-6) 69-52 in the Bulgarian NBL in Saturday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Marinovic scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Levski Sofia (9-2) is placed second in the NBL. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Marinovic is currently sixth on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). This season he has very high stats. Marinovic averages: 17.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.5apg and 1.5spg.

   #4. Ivan Zigeranovic (212-C-84, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a PGE Turow's victory against the ninth-ranked Siarka Jezioro (5-10) 95-81 in the Polish TBL on Thursday night. Zigeranovic scored 18 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (11-4) is placed second in the TBL. Zigeranovic's stats this season are: 10.1ppg and 4.9rpg.

   #5. Dusan Sakota (209-SF-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Italy) helped Cimberio Varese win their game against the 12th-ranked Vanoli Cremona (4-9) 94-84 in the Italian SerieA on Sunday night. Sakota recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes. Cimberio Varese (12-1) is placed first in the SerieA. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Sakota's total stats are: 6.6ppg and 2.6rpg in the 12 games. He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek. Despite Sakota's Serbian passport, he previously played for the Greek U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #6. Milko Bjelica (205-F/C-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) helped his Spanish team Caja Laboral edge the eighth-ranked Maccabi T-A 71-70 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Bjelica scored 8 points in 22 minutes. Bjelica has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 2.6rpg in the 11 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Montenegrin.

   #7. Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90, agency: FCM, currently plays in Greece) helped Panionios win their game against the closely-ranked PAOK 82-68 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. Jankovic scored 8 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 21 minutes. Jankovic is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 6.9rpg. This year his other stats are: 11.6ppg and 2.1apg in the 11 games. Jankovic has both Serbian and Greek nationalities. Despite his Serbian passport, Jankovic previously played for the Greek U16 national team and probably cannot be called to the Serbian team.

   #8. Emre Bayav (212-C-87, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TBL could not help Erdemir (5-9) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Erdemir was defeated 73-62 on the road by the lower-ranked Besiktas (#14). Bayav was the top scorer with 21 points. He also added 5 rebounds. Bayav belongs to league's best blockers and is ranked #4. He has averaged so far 5.8ppg and 5.2rpg. Bayav also holds two passports: Serbian and Turkish. Despite his Serbian nationality, Bayav previously played for the Turkish U20 national team.

   #9. Nikola Jovanovic (203-C/F-81, currently plays in Poland) was the main contributor in Anwil's victory against the closely-ranked PGE Turow 67-58 in the Polish TBL last Sunday. He was the top player that evening. Jovanovic scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 24 minutes. He has averaged so far 7.0ppg and 3.7rpg in the three games.

   #10. Zoran Krstanovic (204-C-82, agency: TSS Management, currently plays in Ukraine) helped Kryvbasbasket win their game against the sixth-ranked Khimik 89-73 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Friday. Krstanovic scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He averaged so far 12.2ppg and 5.1rpg.

BC Mures Targu-Mures (Liga Nationala) landed 32-year old Serbian power forward Dalibor Djapa (205-84, agency: 011 Sports) from BC Timisoara. In 31 Liga Nationala games in Romania he averaged 14.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.5apg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention. KK Mornar Basket Bar (Erste Liga) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old Serbian ex-international small forward Nemanja Krstic (205-93). He played most recently at Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 15 games he recorded 11.1ppg and 2.8rpg last season. Krstic helped them to win the league title and the cup. SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) is about to sign 33-year old Serbian point guard Marko Marinovic (183-82kg-83) who played last time at Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti.
