Former international center Boban Marjanovic (222-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Mega Vizura, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15. The 24-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Vrsac (#5, 8-7) 100-89. It allowed Mega Vizura to take over top position in the Serbian A League. Mega Vizura have a solid 12-3 record. Marjanovic turned to be Mega Vizura's top player in his first season with the team. Boban Marjanovic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 18.5ppg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 76.4% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Bosnia and Herzegovina Marko Popovic (193-G-84) of Sloga. Popovic had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 14 assists. It was enough for Sloga to edge the higher-ranked Metalac (#4, 9-6) 90-87. Sloga's 14th position in the standings has not changed. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Sloga managed to get this year. Popovic is a newcomer at Sloga, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#4). He also recorded 7.2 assists per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was swingman Nemanja Gudzic (195-G/F-90) of Konstantin (#6). Gudzic scored 25 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Konstantin, leading his team to a 79-76 win against the higher-ranked Vojvodina (#2, 11-4). Konstantin needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 7 lost games. Gudzic has a very solid season. In 15 games in Serbia he scored 8.9ppg. He also has 5.1rpg and FGP: 54.9%.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues.
