   #1. This week's number one is former international guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87, currently plays in Euroleague). Bojovic was the major contributor in a Good Angels' victory against the seventh-ranked Arras (0-8) crushing them 78-52 in the Euroleague on Wednesday night. She recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 28 minutes on the court. Good Angels Kosice (7-2) is placed first in group B. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Bojovic is currently first on the list of best passers and also on the list of most steals (second place). This year she averages: 8.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 6.7apg, 2.7spg, 2FGP: 52.4%, 3FGP: 19.2% and FT: 66.7% in the nine games she played so far. Bojovic played for the Serbian senior national team four years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Russia). She contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Energy Ivanovo (2-8) crushing them 84-53 in the Russian PBL in Sunday night's game. Petrovic recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (7-3) is placed fifth in the PBL. It's Petrovic's first season with the team. Her overall stats this year are: 7.0ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.4apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 39.3%, 3FGP: 66.7% and FT: 75.0%. Petrovic played for the Serbian national team in 2011.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Hungary. She could not help MKB Euroleasing (2-7) in their last game. Despite Milovanovic's very good performance the sixth-placed MKB Euroleasing was badly defeated 89-71 on the road by the second-ranked Familia Schio in the group B of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 16 points in 26 minutes. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Milovanovic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #2 with 19.9ppg. This year she also averages: 5.2rpg, 1.3apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 46.3%, 3FGP: 32.0% and FT: 77.5% in the nine games. Milovanovic is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Center Tijana Ajdukovic (195-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Italy) led Parma to a victory against the ninth-ranked Orvieto (3-8) 65-53 in the Italian A1 on Sunday night. She scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lavezzini Parma (8-2) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Ajdukovic's overall stats this season are: 5.2ppg and 3.7rpg. She is also Serbian national team player.

Former international forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France) contributed to Tarbes' victory against the closely-ranked Mondeville (7-9) 78-66 in the French LFB in Saturday night's game. Rad recorded 17 points and added 3 passes in 29 minutes. Tarbes Gespe Bigorre (8-8) is placed seventh in the LFB. Rad belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #6 with 13.1ppg. She also averaged so far 4.2rpg, 1.1apg and 1.8spg in the 16 games. Rad used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #6. Forward Adrijana Knezevic (185-87, currently plays in France), who plays in the French LFB was not able to help Toulouse (7-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her very good performance Toulouse was defeated 74-68 at home by the higher-ranked Perpignan (#3). Knezevic was the second best scorer with 19 points. She also added 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Knezevic has relatively good stats this season: 11.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 2.3apg. She is a former international player as she played for the Serbian senior team two years ago.

   #7. International center Sara Krnjic (196-91, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Milovanovic and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Krnjic was not able to secure a victory for MKB Euroleasing (2-7) in their game against Familia Schio (7-2). She recorded 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 22 minutes. MKB Euroleasing (#6) was badly defeated 89-71 in Schio by the second-ranked Familia in the group B of Euroleague. This year Krnjic's overall stats are: 8.8ppg and 5.4rpg in the nine games. She is also Serbian national team player.

Guard Tamara Bajic (172-87, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Targu Mures (5-10) crushing them 84-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. Bajic recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 15 rebounds. She also added 9 assists (made all of her five free throws). It was his first game for Sp.Studentesc this season. Her team is placed tenth in the Liga Nationala. Bajic used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #9. An experienced former international forward Monika Veselovski (183-77, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A1 couldn't help Priolo (3-8) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Priolo was crushed 83-58 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#3) Lucca. Veselovski was the top scorer with 15 points. She also added 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. Veselovski is currently ninth on the league's list of top scorers with 14.3ppg. She also averaged so far 4.2rpg, 1.8apg and 1.9spg in the nine games. Veselovski used to play for the Serbian national team six years ago.

   #10. Center Biljana Stjepanovic (189-87, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the 13th-ranked Rapid (3-12) 80-64 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. She recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and getting 15 rebounds. Stjepanovic also added 5 blocks. BC Olimpia Brasov (3-4) is placed third in the Liga Nationala. Stjepanovic is currently fourth on the league's list of best rebounders and also on the list of best blockers (fourth place). Her total stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.2bpg. Stjepanovic is a former international player as two years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former international guard Marija Eric (164-83, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Monika Veselovski. But that was another game of her team in Italian A1 which we would like to mention. Eric contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked C.U.S. Chieti 82-67. She scored 13 points and added 3 passes in 33 minutes. Eric is currently fourth on the list of best passers with 2.8apg. This year she also averages: 12.0ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.5spg in the 12 games. Eric used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #12. Former international center Zorica Mitov (189-87, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Craiova (12-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance Craiova was defeated 66-59 on their home court in Craiova by the higher-ranked Alba Iulia (#4). Mitov was the second best scorer with 14 points. She also added 6 rebounds. This season Mitov has relatively solid stats: 12.4ppg, 7.9rpg and 1.2spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2008.

   #13. Former international guard Jovana Vukoje (174-86, currently plays in Romania) faced previously mentioned Zorica Mitov in the Romanian Liga Nationala last game. Vukoje contributed to a Alba Iulia's victory against the eighth-ranked Craiova 66-59. She recorded 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 34 minutes. This year Vukoje's total stats are: 8.7ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg in the 15 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #14. Former international center Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89, currently plays in Italy) helped C.U.S. Chieti win their game against one of league's weakest teams Cagliari CUS 85-71 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. Karakasevic recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Karakasevic is currently fifth on the list of best blockers. She has averaged so far 7.1ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.2bpg and 1.4spg. Karakasevic used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2010.

   #15. Former University international center Dara Kovacevic (197-83, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Satu Mare in their game against Alexandria in the Romanian Liga Nationala. She recorded 6 points in only 12 minutes. Her team lost 65-70. Kovacevic has averaged so far 6.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.3apg in the 15 games. She used to play for the Serbian university national team six years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Ivana Matovic (197-C-83, currently plays in Euroleague) led her Turkish team Fenerbahce to a victory over the closely-ranked Nadezhda Orenburg (5-4) crushing them 93-67 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Matovic recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her six free throws) in 32 minutes. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (6-2) is placed third in group B. There are only four games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Matovic has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 16.1ppg, 6.6rpg and 3.5apg in the eight games she played so far.

   #2. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Arras (0-8) crushing them 78-52 in the Euroleague last Wednesday. Krivacevic recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. Good Angels Kosice (7-2) is placed first in group B. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Krivacevic's first season with the team. This year she averages: 9.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg.

   #3. Marija Prlja (163-G-87, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help one of league's weakest teams Craiova (12-5) in their last game. Despite Prlja's very good performance Craiova lost 59-66 at home to the higher-ranked (#4) Alba Iulia. She was the top scorer with 21 points. Prlja also added 7 steals in 39 minutes. Prlja is currently fourth on the list of best passers with 3.9apg. This year her other stats are: 11.5ppg, 3.7rpg and 2.0spg in the 15 games.

   #4. Vladinka Erak (190-C-84, currently plays in Romania) was the main contributor in Sp.Studentesc's victory against the closely-ranked Targu Mures (5-10) crushing them 84-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Erak was MVP of the game. She recorded 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. CSM Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti (7-8) is placed tenth in the Liga Nationala. This season Erak has relatively solid stats: 10.3ppg, 7.3rpg and 1.2spg.

   #5. Marija Micovic (187-F-82, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) was the major contributor in Irpino's victory against the 13th-ranked Consum.it Siena (0-14) 64-54 in the Italian A2 (12th division) on Saturday night. She scored 17 points, had 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) in 36 minutes. Gruppo L.P.A. Ariano Irpino (6-8) is placed eighth in South group. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. Micovic has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.1spg in the 14 games. She has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Italian.

   #6. Milica Micovic (182-G-84, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the third-ranked Napoli S.Dike crushing them 75-46 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Sunday night's game. Micovic scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Micovic has relatively solid stats: 10.1ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.4spg. She is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Italian.

   #7. Jovana Milovanovic (171-G-83, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Czech Republic) was not able to help Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary in their game against VS Praha in the Czech Republic ZBL. Milovanovic scored 7 points in 17 minutes. Her team lost 66-73. Milovanovic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #3 with 3.5apg. She also averaged so far 8.8ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4spg in the 13 games.

   #8. Tanja Cirov (181-G/F-81, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Canik Bld in their game against Antakya in the Turkish TKBL. Cirov recorded 5 points. Her team was crushed by 25 points 81-56. She has averaged so far 5.7ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.3spg in the six games.

   #9. Experienced Suzana Milovanovic (185-F-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) managed to help BC ICIM Arad to win against the fifth-ranked Sf.Gheorghe 74-64 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Sunday night's game. Milovanovic recorded only 2 points. She has averaged so far 6.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.6apg.

   #10. Julijana Kancevic (168-G-86, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Friendsfactory Germering crushing them 90-49 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) last Saturday. Kancevic scored only 4 points in 18 minutes. She has averaged so far 4.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.3spg in the three games.

Campus Promete Logrono (LFB) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old Serbian international forward Adrijana Knezevic (183-87). It is actually her comeback to Logrono as she has played here before. Knezevic already started the season at Bornova Becker in Turkish KBSL. In only one game she recorded 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals this season. She also played 3 games in EEWBL where she averaged 12.7ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.7spg. Power forward Bojana Stevanovic (180-F/C-96) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sabac, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. The 21-year old player was the main contributor (15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Vrsac (#12, 0-2) with 55-point margin 99-44. 1 ZLS Round 2: Spartak lose their first game against Vrbas Medela - 5 days ago
There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in 1 ZLS. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Spartak (1-1) in Subotica on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Vrbas Medela (1-1) 79-65. The game was mostly controlled by Vrbas Medela. Spartak managed to win fourth quarter 22-20.
