Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Sara Krnjic (196-91, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Hungary. She could not help MKB Euroleasing (2-8) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Krnjic's very good performance the sixth-placed MKB Euroleasing was defeated 74-69 on the road by the leading Fenerbahce in the group B of Euroleague. She was the second best scorer with 18 points. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. This season Krnjic averages: 9.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 2FGP: 60.6%(40-66) and FT: 94.4%(17-18). She is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Sara Krnjic. But that was another game of her team in Hungarian A Division which we would like to mention. Milovanovic led MKB Euroleasing to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked ZTE NKK (9-8) crushing them 85-60. She scored 15 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes. UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron (17-0) is placed first in the A Division. So far her team won all seventeen games in the Regular Season. Milovanovic is ranked second on the list of the top scorers in the league with 18.8ppg. This year her other stats are: 4.6rpg, 1.6apg, 1.8spg, 2FGP: 56.1%(88-157), 3FGP: 36.7% and FT: 82.9% in the 16 games she played so far. Milovanovic is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was former University international center Dara Kovacevic (197-83, currently plays in Romania). She led Satu Mare to a victory over the 13th-ranked Cluj Napoca (3-12) crushing them 95-49 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Kovacevic was MVP of the game. She scored 21 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. CSM Satu Mare (13-3) is placed third in the Liga Nationala. Kovacevic's overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 52.8% and FT: 66.7%. She played for the Serbian university national team six years ago.

   #4. Guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83, currently plays in Romania) was the major contributor in Timisoara's victory against the eighth-ranked Craiova (7-9) 71-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. Pesovic scored 24 points, grabbed 8 boards, passed 5 assists and added 6 steals in 32 minutes. BCM Bega Danzio Timisoara (13-5) is placed third in the Liga Nationala. Pesovic is currently sixth on the league's list of top scorers with 17.0ppg. This year she also averages: 5.0rpg, 2.5apg and 2.2spg in the 15 games. Pesovic used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2011.

An experienced international power forward Ivanka Matic (193-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Romania was not able to help CSM Targoviste (3-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite her good performance CSM Targoviste (#5) was edged 71-68 in Orenburg by the higher-ranked Nadezhda (#4) in the group B of Euroleague. Matic was the second best scorer with 14 points. She also added 9 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Matic's overall stats this season are: 3.7ppg and 3.1rpg. She plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to an easy victory against the sixth-ranked IMOS Brno (2-7) crushing them 83-51 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Petrovic scored 7 points in only 10 minutes. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (8-2) is placed first in group A. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be important. This year Petrovic's overall stats are: 5.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg in the eight games. She is a former international player as she played for the Serbian senior team two years ago.

Former international forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France) contributed to Tarbes' victory against the closely-ranked Perpignan (11-5) 78-73 in the French LFB last Saturday. Rad scored 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Tarbes Gespe Bigorre (9-8) is placed sixth in the LFB. Rad is currently sixth on the list of top scorers. She has very reliable stats this season: 13.0ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.1apg and 1.8spg. Rad used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #8. Guard Maja Miljkovic (175-88, also represented by LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ivanka Matic. However that was another game of her team in Romanian Liga Nationala which brought her to that list. Miljkovic contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Targu Mures (5-11) crushing them 80-43. She scored 7 points and had 3 steals in 18 minutes. CSM Targoviste (14-1) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This year Miljkovic's total stats are: 5.7ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.3apg and 1.3spg in the 12 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2011.

International forward Maja Skoric (184-89, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to DKSK's victory against the closely-ranked Bacsbasket (9-8) 64-53 in the Hungarian A Division in Sunday night's game. Skoric scored 9 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. DKSK Miskolc (10-7) is placed third in the A Division. Her team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Skoric has relatively good stats this season: 11.6ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. She is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

Forward Monika Veselovski (183-77, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Priolo (4-8) in their game against Lucca (9-3) in the Italian A1, despite her very good performance last Sunday. Veselovski was the top scorer with 15 points. She also added 6 rebounds in 39 minutes. But Priolo was crushed 83-58 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Lucca. This year Veselovski has relatively solid stats: 12.9ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.7apg and 1.7spg in the 10 games. She is a former international player as six years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former international guard Jovana Vukoje (174-86, currently plays in Romania) contributed to a Alba Iulia's victory against the tenth-ranked Sp.Studentesc 73-60 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. She scored 8 points, made 3 passes and 4 steals in 29 minutes. Vukoje has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 2.6apg and 2.0spg in the 16 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #12. Former international guard Marija Eric (164-83, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Monika Veselovski. But that was another game of her team in Italian A1 we would like to talk about. Eric helped Priolo win their game against the closely-ranked Pall.Pozzuoli 67-63. She scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Eric is ranked third on the list of the best passers in the league. This season she has very good stats: 12.0ppg, 2.2rpg, 3.0apg and 2.4spg. Eric used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2010.

   #13. Former international center Zorica Mitov (189-87, currently plays in Romania) faced previously mentioned Biljana Pesovic in the Romanian Liga Nationala last game. Mitov couldn't help Craiova in their game against Timisoara, despite her very good performance on Saturday night. She was the top scorer with 15 points. Mitov also added 7 rebounds in 40 minutes. But her team lost 62-71. She has reliable stats this year: 12.6ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.3spg in the 16 games. Mitov used to play for the Serbian national team five years ago.

   #14. International center Tijana Ajdukovic (195-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Parma in their game against Familia Schio in the Italian A1. She cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. Ajdukovic scored only 2 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Her team was crushed by 22 points 84-62. She has averaged so far 4.9ppg and 4.1rpg. Ajdukovic plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #15. Former international center Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89, currently plays in Italy) helped C.U.S. Chieti win their game against one of league's weakest teams Cagliari CUS 85-71 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. She recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 28 minutes. Karakasevic has averaged so far 7.1ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.2bpg and 1.4spg in the 12 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Ivana Matovic (197-C-83, currently plays in Turkey) was the major contributor in Fenerbahce's victory against the eighth-ranked Botas (7-7) crushing them 87-57 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. She had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds in 21 minutes. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (14-0) is placed first in the TKBL. So far her team won all fourteen games in the Regular Season. Matovic has relatively good stats this year: 14.5ppg, 5.3rpg and 2.6apg in the 12 games she played so far.

   #2. Milica Micovic (182-G-84, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) could not help Ragusa (14-1) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Micovic's good performance Ragusa was defeated 65-53 on the road by the second-ranked T. La Spezia in the South group. She was the second best scorer with 12 points. Micovic also added 7 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. It's Micovic's first season with the team. She has reliable stats this year: 10.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.3spg. Micovic has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Italian.

   #3. Vladinka Erak (190-C-84, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Sp.Studentesc (7-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Erak's good performance Sp.Studentesc was defeated 73-60 at home by the higher-ranked Alba Iulia (#4). She recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting the same number of rebounds. Erak averaged so far 10.3ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.2spg.

   #4. Experienced Suzana Milovanovic (185-F-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) managed to help BC ICIM Arad to win against the seventh-ranked Alexandria (9-7) crushing them 82-55 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. She scored 5 points and had 3 steals. BC ICIM Arad (15-1) is placed first in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Milovanovic has averaged so far 6.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg.

   #5. Sonja Maric (185-F-85, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Timisoara's victory against the eighth-ranked Craiova (7-9) 71-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. She scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 36 minutes. It was his first game for Timisoara this season. Her team is placed third in the Liga Nationala.

   #6. Marija Micovic (187-F-82, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Irpino in their game against Ancona in the Italian A2 (12th division). Micovic recorded 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 33 minutes. Her team lost 54-58. Micovic's stats this year are: 14.7ppg, 8.5rpg and 1.1spg in the 15 games. She is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Italian.

   #7. Lidija Turcinovic (184-SG-94, currently plays in France) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq 79-62 in the French LFB in Sunday night's game. Turcinovic scored only 1 points. Turcinovic has averaged so far 1.9ppg and 1.3rpg. She has both Serbian and French nationalities.

   #8. Tanja Cirov (181-G/F-81, currently plays in Turkey) couldn't help Canik Bld in their game against Antakya in the Turkish TKBL. Cirov recorded 5 points. Her team was crushed by 25 points 81-56. Cirov has averaged so far 5.7ppg, 2.9rpg and 1.1spg in the seven games.

   #9. Jovana Milovanovic (171-G-83, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Czech Republic) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary in their game against Valosun Brno in the Czech Republic ZBL. She recorded 6 points. Her team was defeated 68-55. Milovanovic is currently fourth on the list of best passers. She has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.3apg and 1.3spg.

   #10. Marija Prlja (163-G-87, currently plays in Romania) faced previously mentioned Sonja Maric in the Romanian Liga Nationala last game. Prlja couldn't help Craiova in their game against Timisoara. She scored 5 points and added 5 assists in 25 minutes. Her team lost 62-71. Prlja is ranked fourth on the list of the best passers in the league with 3.9apg. She also averaged so far 11.1ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.9spg in the 16 games.

She played most recently at Uniao Sportiva in Portuguese Liga Feminina. In 27 games she averaged impressive 15.6ppg, 4.2rpg, 2.7apg and 1.6spg last season. Galatasaray M.P. Istanbul (KBSL) signed 25-year old Serbian international center Sara Krnjic (191-91). She played this summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA). Krnjic managed to play in three leagues this year. The last season she played at MKB Euroleasing in Hungarian A Division where in 24 games she had 12.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5spg.
