Zivadinovic
Talented Milana Zivadinovic (179-G-91) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Sumadija KG and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
The 21-year old guard had the game-high 22 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Sumadija KG in her team's victory, helping them to beat Student (#8, 8-9) 71-61. Sumadija KG is placed at 5th position in Serbian A League. Sumadija KG is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-8 record. In the team's last game Zivadinovic had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. She turned to be Sumadija KG's top player in her first season with the team. Milana Zivadinovic averages this season 12.9ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old center Marija Ilic (190-C-85, agency: Global Sports Plaza) of Student. Ilic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Student lost that game 61-71 to the higher-ranked Sumadija KG (#5, 8-8). This loss caused Student to drop to 8th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 8-9 record. Ilic is one of the most experienced players at Student and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Natasa Mijatovic (191-F/C-89) of Vrbas Medela (#6). Mijatovic showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, eighteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. She was a key player of Vrbas Medela, leading her team to a 68-64 win against Celarevo (#11, 0-16). Vrbas Medela needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 8 lost games. Mijatovic has a very solid season. In 6 games in Serbia she scored 15.7ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Katarina Vuckovic (191-F/C-94) of Crvena Zvezda - 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Jovana Vidakovic (171-PG-94) of Sabac - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Hristina Marjanovic (170-G-92) of Sumadija KG - 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Ana Niksic (181-F-91) of Crvena Zvezda - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
8. Kristina Milosevic (177-F-90) of Srbobran - 17 points and 4 rebounds
9. Milena Radosevic (173-G/F-87) of Srbobran - 22 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Marija Radosevic) of Celarevo - 23 points and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
