   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89, currently plays in Hungary). Milovanovic led MKB Euroleasing to a victory over the fourth-ranked UNI Gyor (4-3) 76-62 in the Hungarian A Division last Sunday. She was MVP of the game. Milovanovic recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 13 rebounds. She also added 3 blocks. UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron (7-0) is placed second in MEL group. So far her team won all seven games in the Regular Season. It's Milovanovic's first season with the team. Milovanovic is ranked second on the list of the top scorers in the league. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Milovanovic averages: 18.9ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.6apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 56.1%(97-173), 3FGP: 36.5% and FT: 82.9%. She is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Euroleague). Petrovic contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Wisla Can-Pak (5-5) crushing them 89-63 in the Euroleague on Wednesday night. She scored 12 points in a mere 16 minutes. Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region (9-2) is placed first in group A. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Petrovic's overall stats are: 6.3ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.6apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 46.3% and FT: 76.9% in the nine games she played so far. She played for the Serbian national team in 2011.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international guard Sanja Orozovic (183-90, currently plays in Adriatic League). Orozovic was the major contributor in a Athlete Celje's victory against the fifth-ranked Celik (9-7) 78-74 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. She scored 21 points and had 3 steals. ZKK Athlete Celje (4-12) is placed ninth in group T. There are only three games left until the end of the Adriatic League Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Orozovic is currently first on the league's list of top scorers. This season she has very high stats. Orozovic averages: 22.3ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.2apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 48.1%, 3FGP: 31.7% and FT: 78.4%. She played for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #4. Center Sara Krnjic (196-91, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Milovanovic and both played together in the last Hungarian A Division game. Krnjic contributed to an MKB Euroleasing's victory against the fourth-ranked UNI Gyor (4-3) 76-62. She scored 15 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 27 minutes. Krnjic belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #5 with 6.3rpg. This year she also averages: 12.0ppg and 1.4spg in the 17 games. Krnjic is also Serbian national team player.

Former international guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83, currently plays in Romania) was the main contributor in Timisoara's victory against the 12th-ranked Rapid (4-13) crushing them 89-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. She was the best player in that game. Pesovic recorded 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in 29 minutes. BCM Bega Danzio Timisoara (10-6) is placed sixth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Pesovic is currently fourth on the league's list of top scorers with 17.4ppg. She also averaged so far 5.1rpg, 2.7apg and 2.3spg in the 16 games. Pesovic used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

Guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87, currently plays in Euroleague) managed to help Good Angels Kosice in a victory against the closely-ranked Familia Schio (7-4) 78-67 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. She scored 5 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 31 minutes. Good Angels Kosice (8-2) is placed second in group B. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. Bojovic is currently third on the list of best passers and also on the list of most steals (third place). This year her total stats are: 8.4ppg, 2.3rpg, 6.3apg and 2.7spg in the 10 games. Bojovic is a former international player as she played for the Serbian senior team four years ago.

International power forward Iva Roglic (189-88, currently plays in Hungary) contributed to an overtime Atomeromu's victory against the fourth-ranked Cegledi EKK (8-13) 91-86 in the Hungarian A Division in Sunday night's game. She was the top player that evening. Roglic recorded a double-double by scoring 25 points and getting 13 rebounds. Atomeromu KSC Szekszard (13-5) is placed second in Places 9-14 group. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Roglic has relatively good stats this season: 11.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg. She is also Serbian national team player.

Guard Milica Ivanovic (175-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Catawba, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Oradea (0-16) crushing them 103-60 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Wednesday. Ivanovic scored 17 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 31 minutes; quite an impressive performance considering it's only her second season in pro basketball. BC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (12-5) is placed fifth in the Liga Nationala. Ivanovic is currently ninth on the list of top scorers with 15.1ppg. This year she also averages: 2.5rpg, 2.3apg and 1.4spg in the 17 games. Ivanovic plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #9. An experienced international power forward Ivanka Matic (193-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Romania could not help CSM Targoviste (3-7) to beat MKB Euroleasing (3-8). She scored 9 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. But the fifth-placed CSM Targoviste was defeated 65-57 on the road by the lower-ranked MKB Euroleasing (#6) in the group B of Euroleague. It was CSM Targoviste's fifth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. Matic has averaged so far 4.2ppg and 4.0rpg. She is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #10. Guard Maja Miljkovic (175-88, also represented by LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ivanka Matic. But that was another game of her team in Romanian Liga Nationala which we would like to mention. Miljkovic contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Sp.Studentesc (8-10) crushing them 92-50. She recorded 11 points and added 3 assists in a mere 17 minutes. CSM Targoviste (15-1) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Miljkovic has averaged so far 6.1ppg, 1.7rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg in the 13 games. She is a former international player as two years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former University international guard Tamara Bajic (172-87, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Sp.Studentesc's victory against the closely-ranked Craiova 65-53 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Wednesday. Bajic was the top player that evening. She scored 23 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 7 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). This season Bajic has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 5.5apg. She used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

   #12. International center Tijana Ajdukovic (195-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Cagliari CUS 77-60 in the Italian A1 in Sunday night's game. She scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Ajdukovic has averaged so far 5.2ppg and 4.3rpg. She is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #13. Former international guard Marija Eric (164-83, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Priolo's victory against the closely-ranked Pall.Pozzuoli 67-63 in the Italian A1 on Sunday night. Eric scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Eric is ranked fourth on the list of the best passers in the league. She has very reliable stats this season: 11.4ppg, 2.2rpg, 2.8apg and 2.4spg. Eric used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #14. Former University international center Dara Kovacevic (197-83, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Targu Mures crushing them 90-42 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Wednesday night's game. She scored 8 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 15 minutes. Kovacevic has averaged so far 6.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.1apg in the 18 games. She used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2007.

   #15. International forward Maja Skoric (184-89, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to help DKSK in their game against PEAC-PECS in the Hungarian A Division. Skoric scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Her team was badly defeated by 17 points 87-70. She has reliable stats this season: 11.4ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.5apg and 1.1spg. Skoric is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Ivana Matovic (197-C-83, currently plays in Euroleague) led her Turkish team Fenerbahce to a victory over the seventh-ranked Arras (1-9) 81-75 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. She was MVP of the game. Matovic scored 22 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 34 minutes. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (8-2) is placed first in group B. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Matovic has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 16.1ppg, 6.2rpg and 3.2apg in the 10 games she played so far.

   #2. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90, currently plays in Euroleague) contributed to a Good Angels' victory against the closely-ranked Familia Schio (7-4) 78-67 in the Euroleague on Thursday night. She scored 11 points. Good Angels Kosice (8-2) is placed second in group B. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Krivacevic's total stats this season are: 9.6ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg.

   #3. Experienced Suzana Milovanovic (185-F-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) was the major contributor in a ICIM Arad's victory against the 11th-ranked Targu Mures (5-13) crushing them 107-40 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. She recorded 21 points. BC ICIM Arad (16-1) is placed first in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Milovanovic's total stats this season are: 7.4ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg.

   #4. Milena Vukicevic (188-F/C-80, currently plays in Greece) helped Athinaikos win their game against the closely-ranked PAOK (10-4) 54-42 in the Greek A1 on Sunday night. Vukicevic scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sony Athinaikos (13-1) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Vukicevic has averaged so far 6.5ppg and 3.1rpg in the 12 games.

   #5. Milica Micovic (182-G-84, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) helped Ragusa win their game against the tenth-ranked Viterbo (5-10) crushing them 86-40 in the Italian A2 (12th division) last Sunday. Micovic scored 16 points in 22 minutes. Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (15-1) is placed first in South group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Micovic has reliable stats this year: 10.6ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.3spg in the 16 games. She has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Italian.

   #6. Lidija Turcinovic (184-SG-94, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in France could not help Lattes Montpellier to beat Dynamo Moscow. She cannot count Thursday's game as one of the best ones. Turcinovic scored only 3 points in 13 minutes. Her team was edged 86-84. She has averaged so far 2.3ppg and 2.3rpg in the seven games. Turcinovic is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and French.

   #7. Marija Micovic (187-F-82, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) was not able to help Irpino (6-10) in their last game on Sunday. Despite her good performance Irpino (#8) was defeated 51-37 at home by the higher-ranked Napoli S.Dike (#3) in the South group. Micovic was the top scorer with 12 points. She also added 5 rebounds. Micovic's stats this season are: 14.5ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.1spg. She has both Serbian and Italian nationalities.

   #8. Vladinka Erak (190-C-84, currently plays in Romania) helped Sp.Studentesc win their game against the closely-ranked Craiova 65-53 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Wednesday night's game. Erak scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 33 minutes. She has averaged so far 10.0ppg, 7.7rpg and 1.2spg in the 18 games.

   #9. Sonja Maric (185-F-85, currently plays in Romania) helped Timisoara win their game against the 12th-ranked Rapid crushing them 89-62 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. Maric recorded 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 21 minutes. She has averaged so far 6.5ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0apg in the two games.

   #10. Tanja Cirov (181-G/F-81, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Canik Bld in their game against TED Ankara in the Turkish TKBL. Cirov scored 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Her team was defeated 59-54. She has averaged so far 5.9ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.1spg.

Karaburma Beograd (2 ZLS) signed 19-year old point guard Natalija Spaic (170-97, agency: BeoBasket). She was about to sign at Radivoj Korac in the 1 ZLS. Spaic has played there for the last three years. 2 ZLS will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time. The last season Spaic played also at Radivoj Korac where in 22 games she had 5.2ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.0apg. She helped them to win the League title. ZKK Partizan 1953 Beograd (1 ZLS) signed 27-year old Montenegrin ex-international guard Jelena Culafic (172-89) from Sumadija Kragujevac. Culafic has played there for the last three years. In 22 1 ZLS games in Serbia she had 10.4ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.3apg and 1.9spg last season. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her team made it to the Serbian Cup Final Four in 2015. Culafic was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Serbian League 2nd Team in 2015. Krnjic comes back to MKB Euroleasing - 3 days ago

UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron (A Division) re-signed 25-year old Serbian international center Sara Krnjic (191-91). Krnjic played in the summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA). She managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). First Krnjic played at MKB Euroleasing where in 24 games she recorded 12.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5spg.
