Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Hungary. She could not help MKB Euroleasing (3-9) in their last game. Despite Milovanovic's very good performance the sixth-placed MKB Euroleasing lost 68-74 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Nadezhda Orenburg in the group B of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 25 points. Milovanovic also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists (made all of her five free throws) in 35 minutes on the court. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. Milovanovic is currently second on the league's list of top scorers with 19.1ppg. She also averaged so far 5.0rpg, 1.4apg, 2.1spg, 2FGP: 46.0%, 3FGP: 27.0% and FT: 81.6% in the 12 games she played so far. Milovanovic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87, currently plays in Euroleague). Bojovic contributed to a 3-point Good Angels' victory against the closely-ranked Fenerbahce (8-3) 66-63 in the Euroleague on Wednesday night. She recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in 35 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group B. Good Angels Kosice (9-2) is placed first. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Bojovic is ranked second on the list of the best passers in the league and also on the list of most steals (fourth place). This year she averages: 8.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 6.3apg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 53.1%, 3FGP: 20.7% and FT: 67.6% in the 11 games. Bojovic played for the Serbian national team in 2009.

The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced international power forward Ivanka Matic (193-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Romania. She was not able to help CSM Targoviste (3-8) in their last game. Despite Matic's good performance CSM Targoviste (#5) was edged 67-66 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#7) Arras in the group B of Euroleague. She was the second best scorer with 14 points. Matic also added 8 rebounds in 32 minutes. It was CSM Targoviste's sixth consecutive loss in a row. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This year Matic's overall stats are: 5.1ppg, 4.4rpg, 2FGP: 46.9% and FT: 58.8% in the 11 games. She is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

Guard Maja Miljkovic (175-88, also represented by LBM Management, currently plays in Euroleague) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ivanka Matic and both played together in the last Euroleague game. Miljkovic, who plays in Romania was not able to secure a victory for CSM Targoviste (3-8) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite her good performance CSM Targoviste (#5) was edged 67-66 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked Arras (#7) in the group B of Euroleague. Miljkovic recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Miljkovic's total stats this season are: 4.6ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.5apg. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2011.

International guard Milica Ivanovic (175-88, agency: Interperformances, college: Catawba, currently plays in Romania) led Sf.Gheorghe to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Timisoara (10-7) crushing them 91-52 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. She scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Ivanovic's second season in pro basketball. BC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (13-5) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Ivanovic's first year with the team. Ivanovic is ranked ninth on the list of the top scorers in the league. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Ivanovic averages: 15.1ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.2apg and 1.6spg. She plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Forward Jovana Rad (187-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in France) contributed to Tarbes' victory against the league outsider Union Hainaut (4-14) 64-60 in the French LFB on Saturday night. Rad scored 6 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 36 minutes. Tarbes Gespe Bigorre (10-8) is placed fifth in the LFB. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Rad's first season with the team. Rad belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #8 with 12.6ppg. This year her other stats are: 4.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.8spg in the 18 games. Rad is a former international player as she played for the Serbian senior team two years ago.

International center Tijana Ajdukovic (195-91, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Cagliari CUS (2-11) 77-60 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. She scored 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 17 minutes. Lavezzini Parma (9-3) is placed third in the A1. This year Ajdukovic's total stats are: 5.2ppg and 4.3rpg in the 13 games. She is also Serbian national team player.

Power forward Nina Djokovic (184-87, college: Bethel, TN, currently plays in Romania) led Brasov to a victory over the 11th-ranked Targu Mures (5-14) 69-65 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Friday night. Djokovic was MVP of the game. She recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds; not bad, considering it's only Djokovic's third season in pro basketball. BC Olimpia Brasovis placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. They ended the series of three consecutive loses. Djokovic has relatively good stats this season: 14.6ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.2apg. She used to play for the Serbian U20 national team back in 2007.

Former international guard Sanja Orozovic (183-90, currently plays in Adriatic League) contributed to a Athlete Celje's victory against the closely-ranked ZKK Vrsac (4-13) 78-69 in the Adriatic League in Saturday night's game. Orozovic recorded 11 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 26 minutes. ZKK Athlete Celje (5-13) is placed ninth in group T. Her team will play only one more game in the Adriatic League Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Orozovic is ranked first on the list of the top scorers in the league with 21.4ppg. She also averaged so far 6.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.2spg in the 13 games. Orozovic used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #10. Guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83, currently plays in Romania) faced previously mentioned Milica Ivanovic in the Romanian Liga Nationala last game. Pesovic couldn't help one of league's weakest teams one of league's weakest teams Timisoara (14-6) in their game against Sf.Gheorghe (13-5), despite her very good performance on Saturday night. She was the second best scorer with 14 points. Pesovic also added 4 passes in 33 minutes. But Timisoara was crushed 91-52 in Sfantu Gheorghe by the higher-ranked (#4) Sf.Gheorghe. Pesovic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #5 with 17.2ppg. This year her other stats are: 4.9rpg, 2.8apg and 2.3spg in the 17 games. Pesovic is a former international player as two years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former international center Biljana Stjepanovic (189-87, currently plays in Romania) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nina Djokovic and both played together in the last Romanian Liga Nationala game. Stjepanovic was the major contributor in Brasov's victory against the 11th-ranked Targu Mures 69-65. She scored 17 points, grabbed 7 boards, handed out 4 passes and blocked 2 shots in 40 minutes. Stjepanovic is currently third on the list of best blockers with 1.4bpg. This year she also averages: 9.0ppg, 8.6rpg and 1.2apg in the 19 games. Stjepanovic used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.

   #12. International center Sara Krnjic (196-91, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jelena Milovanovic. But that was another game of her team in Hungarian A Division which we would like to mention. Krnjic helped MKB Euroleasing win their game against the fifth-ranked Piestanske Cajky crushing them 79-43. She scored 6 points and had 3 steals. Krnjic is ranked sixth on the list of the best rebounders in the league. She has very reliable stats this season: 12.0ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4spg. Krnjic is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #13. Former international center Zorica Mitov (189-87, currently plays in Romania) couldn't help Craiova in their game against CSM Targoviste in the Romanian Liga Nationala, despite her very good performance in Saturday night's game. She was the top scorer with 17 points. Mitov also added 8 rebounds in 40 minutes. But her team was badly defeated by 18 points 84-66. This year she has relatively solid stats: 12.6ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.3spg in the 18 games. Mitov used to play for the Serbian national team five years ago.

   #14. Former international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Russia) managed to help Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region to win against the closely-ranked Dynamo Moscow 87-71 in the Russian PBL last Sunday. She scored only 2 points. Petrovic has averaged so far 5.7ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.2apg and 1.7spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2011.

   #15. International forward Maja Skoric (184-89, currently plays in Hungary) couldn't help DKSK in their game against Good Angels in the Hungarian A Division. Skoric recorded 9 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 32 minutes. Her team was crushed by 22 points 81-59. She has reliable stats this year: 11.2ppg, 6.1rpg, 2.4apg and 1.1spg in the 17 games. Skoric is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90, currently plays in Hungary) was the major contributor in a Good Angels' victory against the eighth-ranked DKSK (1-3) crushing them 81-59 in the Hungarian A Division last Sunday. She recorded 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was his first game for Good Angels this season. Her team is placed first in MEL group. So far her team won all eight games in the Second Stage.

   #2. Ivana Matovic (197-C-83, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Antakya (7-9) 72-57 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. She recorded 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu (15-1) is placed first in the TKBL. Matovic has relatively good stats this season: 14.2ppg, 5.4rpg and 2.6apg.

   #3. Experienced Suzana Milovanovic (185-F-79, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Romania) led ICIM Arad to a victory against the fifth-ranked Alba Iulia (12-6) 71-59 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Milovanovic scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. BC ICIM Arad (17-1) is placed first in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. This year Milovanovic's total stats are: 7.8ppg, 2.9rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg in the 17 games she played so far.

   #4. Milena Vukicevic (188-F/C-80, currently plays in Greece) contributed to Athinaikos' victory against the closely-ranked PAOK (11-4) 54-42 in the Greek A1 in Sunday night's game. She scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Sony Athinaikos (14-1) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. Vukicevic's total stats this season are: 6.6ppg and 2.9rpg.

   #5. Sonja Maric (185-F-85, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help one of league's weakest teams Timisoara (14-6) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her very good performance Timisoara was crushed 91-52 on the road by the higher-ranked Sf.Gheorghe (#4). Maric was the top scorer with 15 points. She also added 6 rebounds (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). Maric has averaged so far 9.3ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.3apg.

   #6. Milica Micovic (182-G-84, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Viterbo crushing them 86-40 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Sunday night's game. She scored 16 points. This season Micovic has relatively solid stats: 10.7ppg, 4.3rpg and 1.2spg. She has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Italian.

   #7. Marija Micovic (187-F-82, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked College Italia crushing them 67-38 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Sunday night's game. She recorded 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 29 minutes. Micovic's stats this year are: 14.1ppg, 8.3rpg and 1.2spg in the 18 games. She is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Italian.

   #8. Marija Prlja (163-G-87, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala was not able to help Craiova (14-5) in their last game. Despite Prlja's very good performance Craiova was badly defeated 84-66 at home by the second-ranked CSM Targoviste. She was the second best scorer with 15 points. Prlja also added 6 passes in 27 minutes. Prlja belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4 with 4.1apg. This year her other stats are: 10.8ppg, 3.3rpg and 1.8spg in the 18 games.

   #9. Jovana Milovanovic (171-G-83, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Czech Republic) contributed to a Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary's victory against the league outsider BK Pliska Studanka 56-52 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Sunday night's game. Milovanovic scored 8 points and added 4 assists. Milovanovic is currently third on the list of best passers. She has averaged so far 8.3ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg.

   #10. Vladinka Erak (190-C-84, currently plays in Romania) was not able to secure a victory for Sp.Studentesc in their game against Satu Mare in the Romanian Liga Nationala. Erak scored 7 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Her team was crushed by 25 points 84-59. She has averaged so far 9.8ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.2spg.

Round 9 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Partizan (7-2). They were crushed by fourth ranked Crvena Zvezda (6-3) 74-53 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Partizan. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-53. Crvena Zvezda forced 28 Partizan turnovers. Valencia BC (LF2) agreed terms with 21-year old Serbian power forward Branka Lukovic (190-95). She already started the season at Partizan in Serbian 1 ZLS. In 7 games she had 11.1ppg and 7.4rpg this season. Lukovic also played 7 games in MZRKL where she recorded 6.3ppg and 4.1rpg. The most of last season she spent at UCAM Jairis.
