   #1. This week's number one is an international center Nenad Krstic (212-83, currently plays in Russia). He led CSKA Moscow to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Unics Kazan (3-7) 89-79 in the Russian PBL in Thursday night's game. Krstic was MVP of the game. He scored 16 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 28 minutes on the court. CSKA Moscow (11-1) is placed first in the PBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Krstic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #4 with 14.9ppg. He also averaged so far 3.9rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 73.0%(46-63) and FT: 84.4% in the eight games he played so far. Krstic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former University international guard Uros Duvnjak (190-86, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece). He was the main contributor in AGOR's victory against the closely-ranked Aris (7-9) 73-71 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. Duvnjak was the best player in that game. He scored 36 points (!!!). A.G.O Rethymno Aegean (10-6) is placed fifth in the A1. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Duvnjak has relatively good stats this season: 12.9ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 56.5%(48-85), 3FGP: 35.6% and FT: 82.8%. He played for the Serbian university national team in 2007.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Russia) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nenad Krstic and both played together in the last Russian PBL game. Teodosic contributed to a CSKA Moscow's victory against one of league's weakest teams Unics Kazan (3-7) 89-79. He scored 14 points and added 4 passes. Teodosic is currently second on the league's list of best passers. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 2.9rpg, 5.4apg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 62.9%(22-35), 3FGP: 41.9% and FT: 91.7%(22-24). Teodosic is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Spain could not help Caja Laboral (4-2) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance the fourth-placed Caja Laboral was defeated 83-71 at home by the higher-ranked Khimky (#3) in the group F of Euroleague. Bjelica scored 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. This season Bjelica has relatively solid stats: 10.8ppg and 4.6rpg. He is also Serbian national team player.

   #5. Former University international power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in a Stelmet ZG's victory against the tenth-ranked Kotwica (5-14) 81-74 in the Polish TBL last Sunday. He recorded 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Stelmet Zielona Gora (14-5) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Borovnjak has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.2ppg, 7.5rpg and 1.7apg. Borovnjak used to play for the Serbian university national team four years ago.

Power forward Dusko Savanovic (204-83, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) helped his Turkish team Anadolu Efes win their game against the sixth-ranked Unicaja Malaga (2-4) 78-73 in the Euroleague last Friday. Savanovic scored 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 16 minutes. Anadolu Efes Istanbul (5-1) is placed second in group E. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Savanovic's overall stats are: 8.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.1spg in the 16 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

International center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88, currently plays in Ukraine) helped Azovmash win their game against the closely-ranked Ferro-ZNTU (18-10) crushing them 105-84 in the Ukrainian Superleague on Friday night. Raduljica recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. He also added 4 assists and 4 steals. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Azovmash Mariupol (20-8) is placed second in the Superleague. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. Raduljica has reliable stats this season: 12.5ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.1apg. He is also Serbian national team player.

Power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) was not able to help Halychyna (17-11) in their game against Budivelnyk (21-7) in the Ukrainian Superleague, despite his very good performance in Friday night's game. Vukosavljevic had a double-double by scoring 20 points and getting 13 rebounds in 28 minutes. But Halychyna was crushed 95-65 on the road by the leading Budivelnyk. They ended the series of seven consecutive victories. Vukosavljevic has very impressive stats this year: 15.9ppg and 9.7rpg in the 28 games. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2007.

Former U20 international guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, currently plays in Romania) helped Ploiesti win their game against the 14th-ranked Oradea (0-19) 91-77 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Friday night. Vlahovic was the top player that evening. He scored 28 points (!!!) and added 5 assists in 34 minutes. CSU Asesoft Ploiesti (14-7) is placed seventh in the Liga Nationala. Vlahovic is ranked fifth on the list of the best passers in the league with 5.5apg. This year his other stats are: 13.2ppg and 2.2rpg in the 19 games. Vlahovic used to play for the Serbian U20 national team three years ago.

   #10. Power forward Zoran Erceg (210-85, currently plays in VTB United League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nenad Krstic. But that was another game of his team in VTB United League which we would like to mention. Erceg was not able to secure a victory for CSKA Moscow (11-2) in their game against Zalgiris (13-1). He recorded 6 points in 17 minutes. CSKA Moscow (#2) lost 68-74 in Kaunas to the leading Zalgiris in the group B of VTB United League. This year Erceg's total stats are: 7.7ppg and 4.3rpg in the three games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. International center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Turkey) helped Banvit BK edge the league outsider Olin Edirne 69-67 in the Turkish TBL on Sunday night. Stimac scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Stimac belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #5. This season he has very good stats: 10.2ppg and 8.5rpg. Stimac plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #12. International power forward Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Turkey) helped Galatasaray edge the tenth-ranked Aliaga 78-77 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Macvan has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.3apg in the 16 games. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #13. Former University international guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Hungary) helped Jaszberenyi win their game against the league leader Albacomp 75-70 in the Hungarian A Division on Saturday night. He was the top player that evening. Rakic recorded 24 points, 9 assists and 3 steals (made all of his eight free throws) in 37 minutes. Rakic is ranked sixth on the list of the best passers in the league with 5.6apg. This year his other stats are: 18.7ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.5spg in the 19 games. Rakic used to play for the Serbian university national team six years ago.

   #14. Former U20 international forward Uros Petrovic (205-90, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Bulgaria) helped Balkan win their game against the seventh-ranked Beroe 84-68 in the Bulgarian NBL in Saturday night's game. Petrovic was the top player that evening. He scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 35 minutes. Petrovic has very impressive stats this year: 15.1ppg and 4.6rpg in the 16 games. He used to play for the Serbian U20 national team back in 2010.

   #15. Former U20 international power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Juvecaserta in their game against Angelico Biella in the Italian SerieA. Despite his very good performance last Sunday Jelovac recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and getting 10 rebounds. Jelovac is ranked seventh on the list of the best rebounders in the league. He has very solid stats this season: 11.7ppg and 6.9rpg. Jelovac used to play for the Serbian U20 national team four years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Russia) was the major contributor in a CSKA Moscow's victory against one of league's weakest teams Unics Kazan (3-7) 89-79 in the Russian PBL on Thursday night. Micov scored 14 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 31 minutes. CSKA Moscow (11-1) is placed first in the PBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Micov's first season with the team. This year he averages: 7.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.3apg in the eight games he played so far.

   #2. Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90, currently plays in Greece) led Panionios to an easy victory against the 11th-ranked Peristeri GS (5-11) crushing them 91-69 in a derby game in the Greek A1 last Saturday. He scored 18 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals in 21 minutes. Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (13-3) is placed third in the A1. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. It's Jankovic's fourth season with the team. Jankovic is ranked fourth on the list of the best rebounders in the league with 7.0rpg. This year he also averages: 13.3ppg and 2.1apg in the 15 games. Jankovic has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek. Despite his Serbian passport, Jankovic previously played for the Greek U16 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #3. Experienced Andrija Ciric (199-G-80, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help Targu Mures (15-6) in their last game. Despite Ciric's very good performance Targu Mures lost 79-89 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#12) Giurgiu. He had a double-double by scoring 35 points and getting 11 rebounds in 32 minutes. It's Ciric's first season with the team. Ciric has reliable stats this year: 13.0ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.8apg in the 18 games.

   #4. Milko Bjelica (205-F/C-84, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Caja Laboral's victory against the closely-ranked Valencia Basket (12-8) 79-75 in the Spanish ACB on Sunday night. He scored 8 points and added 5 passes in 21 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Caja Laboral Vitoria (17-3) is placed second in the ACB. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. This year Bjelica's overall stats are: 5.3ppg and 2.6rpg in the 18 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Montenegrin.

   #5. Oliver Stevic (204-F/C-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Poland) led Stelmet ZG to a victory against the tenth-ranked Kotwica (5-14) 81-74 in the Polish TBL in Sunday night's game. Stevic recorded 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Stelmet Zielona Gora (14-5) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Petrovic-Stergiou recorded 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Petrovic-Stergiou's stats this season are: 13.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.3apg and 1.1spg. He has both Serbian and Greek nationalities.

   #7. Dusan Djordjevic (195-G-83, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Belgium) helped Base Oostende win their game against the league outsider VOO Verviers-Pepinster crushing them 99-71 in the Belgian Ethias League in Saturday night's game. He scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Djordjevic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4. His total stats this season are: 8.5ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.6apg and 1.1spg. Djordjevic also holds two passports: Serbian and Montenegrin.

   #8. Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Bulgaria) helped Rilski Sportist win their game against the closely-ranked Euroins Cherno More 100-83 in the Bulgarian NBL last Friday. Mirkovic scored 16 points and added 8 assists. Mirkovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #8) and also on the list of best passers (third place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Mirkovic averages: 17.0ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.5apg and 1.9spg.

   #9. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83, currently plays in Bulgaria) led Levski Sofia to a victory over the league outsider U20 crushing them 84-44 in a derby game in the Bulgarian NBL in Saturday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Marinovic scored 17 points and had 3 steals. Marinovic is currently seventh on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). This season he has very high stats. Marinovic averages: 17.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 5.2apg and 1.5spg.

   #10. Rade Dzambic (188-G-80, agency: TSS Management, college: NYIT, currently plays in Romania) helped Craiova win their game against the tenth-ranked CSU Sibiu crushing them 90-68 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. He had a double-double by scoring 21 points and making 10 passes. Dzambic also added and 4 steals in 39 minutes. Dzambic is ranked second on the list of the best passers in the league with 7.0apg. LEB Silver newcomer Seguros Soliss Alcazar Basket re-signed 28-year old Serbian center Goran Oluic (203-88). He has played there for the last two seasons. In 28 EBA games he averaged 6.5ppg and 3.6rpg last season. Oluic helped them to win the EBA Final Stage 2 title.
