The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Mega Vizura (17-4) in Uzice on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked Sloboda (12-9) 80-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Mega Vizura. The game was mostly controlled by Sloboda. Mega Vizura managed to win fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sloboda dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Mega Vizura's 24. Sloboda forced 21 Mega Vizura turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Marko Ljubojevic (202-84) who led his team to a victory with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Branko Andjic (201-82) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Sloboda's coach Vladimir Djokic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Nemanja Dangubic (196-93) answered with 15 points and 6 rebounds for Mega Vizura. Sloboda moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Konstantin. Mega Vizura at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Sloboda is looking forward to face Vrsac (#6) on the road in the next round. Mega Vizura will play against Metalac (#3) in Valjevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Important game to mention about took place in Valjevo. Third ranked Metalac (14-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging second-best Vojvodina (16-5) 70-67 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Vojvodina. Swingman Dragan Kruscic (198-86) stepped up and scored 19 points for the winners and Stefan Zivanovic chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Nikola Kalinic (202-91) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Vojvodina's coach Sinisa Matic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Metalac maintains third place with 14-7 record having just three points less than leader Mega Vizura. Vojvodina at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Metalac will play against league's leader Mega Vizura on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vojvodina will play against OKK Beograd and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Smederevo Vizura will play against BKK Radnicki in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Vrsac (11-10) and Sloga (7-14), which took place in Kraljevo. Higher ranked Vrsac lost to thirteenth ranked Sloga in a road game 93-104. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Vrsac. The best player for the winners was Aleksandar Marelja who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Sloga's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Sloga moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Smederevo. Vrsac at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Sloga's next round opponent will be higher ranked Konstantin (#4) in Nis and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 21: Konstantin beat BKK Radnicki on the road 74-66. OKK Beograd won against Tamis on its own court 76-72. Borac unfortunately lost to Radnicki Basket in Beograd 62-79.



Jagodina - Smederevo 90-74

Bottom-ranked KK Jagodina managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of eight consecutive loses on Wednesday night. This time newly promoted KK Jagodina won against eleventh-ranked Smederevo Vizura 90-74. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference proves that KK Jagodina was well-prepared to that game. The hosts trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 46-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. KK Jagodina forced 20 Smederevo Vizura turnovers. Marko Puzic (198-85) nailed 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and swingman Adam Mirkovic (199-91) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. Five KK Jagodina players scored in double figures. Power forward Danilo Sibalic (204-88) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Vladimir Vlaskovic (197-77) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Smederevo Vizura in the defeat. No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Konstantin (12-9) beat 12th ranked BKK Radnicki (6-15) in Beograd 74-66. Konstantin dominated on the defensive end, holding BKK Radnicki to just 6 points in second quarter. 32 personal fouls committed by BKK Radnicki helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was naturalized Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-87) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Filip Dumic chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Nemanja Bezbradica (204-93, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded 10 points and 6 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Marko Ilic (203-76) added 5 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Konstantin maintains fourth place with 12-9 record, which they share with Sloboda Uzice. BKK Radnicki lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Tamis (10-11) lost on the road to ninth ranked OKK Beograd (10-11) 76-72. Tamis were ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 26-15 third quarter run of OKK Beograd. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Tamis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Stanoje Knezevic (202-89) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Vladimir Popovic (190-82) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Four OKK Beograd players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Branko Jereminov (187-87) who recorded 17 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Slovenian point guard Mirza Sarajlija (187-91) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Radnicki Basket (11-10) won against 10th ranked Borac (9-12) in Beograd 79-62. It looked good early as Borac took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Radnicki Basket had a 22-16 second period charge getting the lead and Borac was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 62-79. The best player for the winners was guard Pedja Stamenkovic (190-88, agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points. Power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) chipped in 7 points and 6 rebounds. Radnicki Basket's coach Milos Pejic let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
