We bring you last week's top performances from Serbians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Russia. He could not help CSKA Moscow (5-3) in their last game. Despite Teodosic's very good performance the third-placed CSKA Moscow was edged 63-60 on the road by the leading Anadolu Efes in the group E of Euroleague. He was the top scorer with 26 points. Teodosic also added 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 31 minutes on the court. Teodosic is currently fifth on the list of best passers with 5.1apg. He also averaged so far 13.8ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 60.6%(43-71), 3FGP: 36.5% and FT: 87.3% in the 18 games he played so far. Teodosic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Zoran Erceg (210-85, currently plays in VTB United League) is a teammate of previously mentioned Milos Teodosic. But that was another game of his team in VTB United League which we would like to mention. Erceg led his Russian team CSKA Moscow to a victory over the tenth-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk (1-14) 68-57. He was MVP of the game. Erceg scored 19 points and had 3 steals. CSKA Moscow (12-2) is placed second in group B. Erceg has relatively good stats this season: 10.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 69.2%, 3FGP: 43.8% and FT: 75.0%. He is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. Bjelica was not able to help Caja Laboral (17-4) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Caja Laboral lost 70-84 in Santoago de Comp to the much lower-ranked (#10) Blusens Monbus. Bjelica was the second best scorer with 16 points. He also added 9 rebounds (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 25 minutes. They ended the series of ten consecutive victories. This year Bjelica has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 2FGP: 58.2%(39-67), 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 70.6% in the 17 games. He is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup) was the major contributor in a Stelmet ZG's victory against the leader Lokomotiv (5-1) 94-88 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Borovnjak recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 12 rebounds. Stelmet Zielona Gora (3-3) is placed third in group K. The Top 16 already ended in the Eurocup. It's Borovnjak's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Borovnjak averages: 15.7ppg, 6.7rpg and 2.0apg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

International power forward Milan Macvan (205-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to Galatasaray's victory against the closely-ranked Anadolu Efes (14-4) 77-70 in a derby game in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 29 minutes. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul (16-3) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. This year Macvan's overall stats are: 9.5ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.2apg in the 18 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Ukraine) was the main contributor in Halychyna's victory against one of league's weakest teams DniproAzot (11-20) crushing them 84-60 in the Ukrainian Superleague last Friday. Vukosavljevic was the best player in that game. He recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and getting 14 rebounds. Vukosavljevic also added 3 assists. Politekhnika-Halychyna Lviv (20-12) is placed third in the Superleague. This season Vukosavljevic has very high stats. He averages: 16.3ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.1apg. Vukosavljevic is a former university international player as he played for the Serbian team six years ago.

   #7. International center Milovan Rakovic (208-85, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider Lagun Aro GBC (4-18) 91-72 in the Spanish ACB last Saturday. Rakovic recorded 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao Basket (14-8) is placed third in the ACB. Rakovic's total stats this season are: 7.0ppg and 2.6rpg. He is also Serbian national team player.

   #8. Center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88, currently plays in Ukraine), who plays in the Ukrainian Superleague was not able to secure a victory for Azovmash (21-9) in their last game. Despite Raduljica's very good performance Azovmash lost 76-82 in Frankivsk to the lower-ranked (#6) Hoverla. He was the second best scorer with 17 points. Raduljica also added 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 31 minutes. It was Azovmash's first loss after four consecutive victories. Raduljica has reliable stats this year: 12.5ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.2apg in the 28 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

International center Vladimir Stimac (211-87, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Erdemir (7-12) crushing them 92-68 in the Turkish TBL in Sunday night's game. Stimac scored 7 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line). Banvit Basketbol Kulubu (16-2) is placed second in the TBL. It was his team's ninth consecutive victory in a row. Stimac is currently fifth on the league's list of best rebounders. His total stats this season are: 10.0ppg and 8.3rpg. Stimac is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #10. Power forward Dusko Savanovic (204-83, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) faced previously mentioned Milos Teodosic in the Euroleague last game. Savanovic contributed to a 3-point Anadolu Efes' victory against the third-ranked CSKA Moscow (5-3) 63-60. He scored 7 points and added 3 passes in 22 minutes. This year Savanovic's total stats are: 8.8ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in the 18 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. Former University international guard Uros Duvnjak (190-86, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Ilysiakos crushing them 95-68 in the Greek A1 on Sunday night. Duvnjak scored 12 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 7 assists. Duvnjak averaged so far 12.9ppg, 2.9rpg and 2.4apg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team six years ago.

   #12. International point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in VTB United League), who plays in Lithuania couldn't help Lietuvos rytas (8-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Nedovic's good performance Lietuvos rytas (#6) was defeated 86-78 in Zgorzelec by the lower-ranked PGE Turow (#8) in the group A of VTB United League. He scored 10 points and added 3 assists. Nedovic averaged so far 10.3ppg, 2.4rpg and 2.4apg. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.

   #13. Former University international point guard Igor Mijajlovic (193-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in FYR Macedonia) contributed to Kozuv's victory against one of league's weakest teams Pelister Bitola 82-72 in the FYR Macedonian Prva Liga on Saturday night. Mijajlovic was the top player that evening. He scored 24 points and added 6 passes in 32 minutes. Mijajlovic is currently second on the list of best passers with 4.7apg. This year his other stats are: 13.8ppg and 3.6rpg in the nine games. Mijajlovic used to play for the Serbian university national team six years ago.

   #14. Former University international forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85, currently plays in Eurocup) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Banvit BK 66-50 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. He scored 11 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Milosevic has averaged so far 6.1ppg and 5.3rpg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team back in 2009.

   #15. Former U20 international power forward Stevan Jelovac (208-89, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian SerieA couldn't help Juvecaserta (8-11) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his very good performance Juvecaserta was crushed 97-76 in Montegranaro by the lower-ranked Sutor (#13). Jelovac recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 10 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. Jelovac is currently seventh on the list of best rebounders. He has very reliable stats this season: 11.9ppg and 7.1rpg. Jelovac used to play for the Serbian U20 national team four years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90, currently plays in Greece) led Panionios to a victory against the seventh-ranked Aris (8-10) 82-75 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. Jankovic had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting the same number of rebounds (went 6 for 6 at the free throw line) in 27 minutes. Panionios ON Telecoms Athens (15-3) is placed second in the A1. It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. Jankovic is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Panionios' roster. He belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #3 with 7.4rpg. This year Jankovic also averages: 13.2ppg and 1.8apg in the 17 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek. Despite Jankovic's Serbian passport, he previously played for the Greek U16 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #2. Marko Marinovic (183-PG-83, currently plays in Bulgaria) was the major contributor in a Levski Sofia's victory against the closely-ranked Tundja Yambol (10-8) 78-67 in the Bulgarian NBL on Sunday night. Marinovic scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Levski Sofia (15-3) is placed second in the NBL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended. Marinovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #8) and also on the list of best passers (fourth place). He has individually a very good season with high stats. Marinovic averages: 16.7ppg, 3.5rpg, 5.1apg and 1.6spg.

   #3. Experienced Predrag Suput (200-F-77, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League), who plays in Croatia could not help Cedevita (12-10) in their last game. Despite his good performance Cedevita was edged 80-78 at home by the lower-ranked (#8) MZT Skopje. Suput scored 12 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 34 minutes. There are only four games left until the end of the Adriatic League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Suput has reliable stats this year: 10.2ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2apg in the 21 games.

   #4. Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: Global Sports Plaza, currently plays in Bulgaria) led Rilski Sportist to a victory over the eighth-ranked Chernomorets (6-12) crushing them 101-80 in the Bulgarian NBL in Sunday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Mirkovic scored 21 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Rilski Sportist Samokov (13-5) is placed third in the NBL. The Regular Season already ended. Mirkovic belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #7) and also on the list of best passers (second place). This season he has very high stats. Mirkovic averages: 17.1ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.6apg and 2.0spg.

   #5. Ivan Zigeranovic (212-C-84, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Poland) contributed to a PGE Turow's victory against the seventh-ranked AZS Koszalin (10-10) 82-77 in the Polish TBL last Thursday. He scored 16 points, had 9 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 21 minutes. PGE Turow Zgorzelec (15-5) is placed first in the TBL. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. This year Zigeranovic's total stats are: 9.4ppg and 5.5rpg in the 20 games.

   #6. Vladimir Micov (201-F-85, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help CSKA Moscow in their game against Anadolu Efes in the Euroleague. He scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. His team was edged 63-60. Micov's total stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.7apg.

   #7. Jovo Stanojevic (208-C-77, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) helped TED Kolejliler win their game against the 11th-ranked Gaziantep 86-79 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game. He scored 16 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 31 minutes. Stanojevic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #2 with 18.0ppg. He also averaged so far 6.1rpg and 3.1apg in the 18 games.

   #8. Oliver Stevic (204-F/C-84, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Eurocup) helped his Polish team Stelmet ZG win their game against the leader Lokomotiv 94-88 in the Eurocup in Wednesday night's game. Stevic scored 11 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 28 minutes. Stevic is currently fourth on the list of best rebounders with 7.3rpg. He also averaged so far 13.8ppg, 1.3apg and 1.2spg in the 12 games.

   #9. Vanja Plisnic (207-F/C-80, another player represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Jovo Stanojevic and both played together in the last Turkish TBL game. Plisnic helped TED Kolejliler win their game against the 11th-ranked Gaziantep 86-79. He scored 14 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 23 minutes. Plisnic has averaged so far 9.5ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.4apg in the 17 games.

   #10. Vladimir Panic (194-F-82, currently plays in Bulgaria) was not able to secure a victory for Balkan in their game against Lukoil Academik in the Bulgarian NBL. Despite his very good performance on Saturday night He was the top scorer with 21 points. Panic also added 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists. This season he has very high stats. Guaros de Lara (LPB) signed 32-year old Serbian ex-international swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-94kg-84, agency: AproK Sports Group). He played this summer at Tadamon in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 26 games he was second best scorer with impressive 25.4ppg and averaged 4.6rpg, 3.2apg and 1.3spg. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Cvetkovic won Kazakhstan League championship title for two years in a row (2013 and 2014). Partizan - Mornar Bar 88:71 Partizan celebrated title at the pre-season tournament in Kopaonik. They knocked down Mornar Bar in the final. Vanja Marinkovic (198-SG-97, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with 15 points to lead the Serbian team. Partizan opened a 25:18 lead after the opening quarter. A2 newcomer G.S. Larissas 1928 added to their roster 29-year old Serbian guard Stefan Nikolic (193-85kg-87) from Pefkohori. In 26 A2 games in Greece he recorded 12.7ppg, 3.4rpg and 4.1apg last season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A2 Honorable Mention. The most of previous (2014-15) season Nikolic spent at Karpos Sokoli in Prva Liga where in 13 games he averaged 4.7ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.0apg.
