Host teams show no mercy winning all games. There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Meridiana NS (15-4) in Indjija on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Zeleznicar (10-8) 69-61. Meridiana NS trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 15-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 61-69 at the end of the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Zeleznicar made 9 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Meridiana NS helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for power forward Marko Ognjenovic (205-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Center Slobodan Gugleta (-83) helped adding 20 points and 6 blocks. At the losing side Nebojsa Jovsic responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. Meridiana NS's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zeleznicar moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Meridiana NS still keeps top position with four games lost. Zeleznicar are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Spartak (#14) in Subotica in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Meridiana NS will play at home against Plana (#12) in Velika Plana and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Napredak Rubin (12-7) against eighth ranked Partizan II (9-9) on Monday night. Visiting Napredak Rubin was defeated by Partizan II in Beograd 92-82. It was an exceptional evening for center Nikola Milutinov (212-94) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Aleksa Jugovic accounted for 22 points and 4 steals. point guard Vladimir Radmanovac (191-82) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds for Napredak Rubin in the defeat. Partizan II moved-up to seventh place. Napredak Rubin at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Crnokosa. Partizan II will play against higher ranked Crnokosa (#3) in Kosjeric in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Napredak Rubin will play at home against Beovuk 72 in Beograd and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Crnokosa (12-7) against twelfth ranked Plana (7-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Crnokosa was defeated by Plana in a tough game in Velika Plana 79-85. Nikola Glisovic fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Sanel Mukanovic produced 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for lost side. Newly promoted Plana maintains twelfth place with 7-12 record. Loser Crnokosa dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Napredak K.. Plana will meet league's leader Meridiana NS in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Crnokosa will play against Partizan II in Beograd and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Obrenovac. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Napredak A. (10-9) to eleventh ranked Radnicki OB (8-11) 81-78 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Vlatko Ilic who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Napredak A.'s coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Radnicki OB moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Beovuk 72. Napredak A. at the other side dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. Radnicki OB's next round opponent will be higher ranked Mladost Zemun (#8) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
An interesting game took place in Cacak where higher ranked Mladost Zemun (9-10) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Mladost Cacak (6-12) 80-67 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Strahinja Petkovic who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mladost Cacak maintains thirteenth place with 6-12 record. Loser Mladost Zemun dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Mladost Cacak will face higher ranked Proleter Naftagas (#9) in Zrenjanin in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

In the last two games of round 19 Proleter Naftagas lost to Beovuk 72 on the opponent's court 82-94. Morava outscored Spartak in a home game 89-70.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists by Perica Mitic of Morava.


Partizan II - Napredak K. 92-82

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Napredak Rubin (12-7) against eighth ranked Partizan II (9-9) on Monday night. Visiting Napredak Rubin was defeated by Partizan II in Beograd 92-82. Partizan II dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Napredak Rubin's 24 and made 24-of-30 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Partizan II forced 22 Napredak Rubin turnovers. Napredak Rubin was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for center Nikola Milutinov (212-94) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Aleksa Jugovic (190-95) accounted for 22 points and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Partizan II players scored in double figures. point guard Vladimir Radmanovac (191-82) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and guard Luka Milojevic (193-91) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Napredak Rubin in the defeat. Partizan II moved-up to seventh place. Napredak Rubin at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Crnokosa. Beovuk 72 - Proleter Naftagas 94-82

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Beograd where 9th ranked Proleter Naftagas (8-10) were defeated by tenth ranked Beovuk 72 (8-11) 94-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-82. Beovuk 72 dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Proleter Naftagas' 36 and made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Proleter Naftagas 52-30 including a 26-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Proleter Naftagas were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Milan Dondur who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Ratko Petric (213-86) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). An interesting game took place in Cacak where higher ranked Mladost Zemun (9-10) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Mladost Cacak (6-12) 80-67 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Mladost Cacak. Mladost Zemun was better in second period 25-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Mladost Zemun to just 6 points in first quarter. Mladost Cacak forced 30 Mladost Zemun turnovers. Morava - Spartak 89-70

Very predictable result in Vladicin Han where fourth ranked Morava (13-6) smashed bottom-ranked Spartak (4-15) 89-70 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-70. Morava made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Perica Mitic (184-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Center Aleksandar Andrejevic (211-91) helped adding 10 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Aleksandar Drakulic (198-85) responded with 29 points and 6 rebounds and Milos Milisavljevic scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Very important is a road loss of second ranked Crnokosa (12-7) against twelfth ranked Plana (7-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Crnokosa was defeated by Plana in a tough game in Velika Plana 79-85. They made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Plana outrebounded Crnokosa 42-30 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Center Nikola Glisovic (209-73) fired 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Guard Miroslav Radic (195-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Sanel Mukanovic (192-83) produced 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and guard Nenad Kasabasic (190-84) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Five Crnokosa players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Plana maintains twelfth place with 7-12 record. Loser Crnokosa dropped to the third position with seven games lost. They share it with Napredak K.. Plana will meet league's leader Meridiana NS in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Crnokosa will play against Partizan II in Beograd and hope to secure a win.
