20-year old power forward Aleksandar Marelja (207-F/C-92) had a great game in the last round for Sloga and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 24. He had a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Jagodina (#14, 5-19) 98-87. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on the top of the standings. Sloga maintains the 13th position in Serbian league. Sloga is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-16 record. It's Marelja's second year at Sloga and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Marelja has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 5.7rpg) and averages solid 62.6% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Ivan Miceta (205-FC-81) of Tamis. He is a in his first season at Tamis. In the last game Miceta recorded impressive 29 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Tamis to edge the higher-ranked Vojvodina (#2, 18-6) by 1 point 84-83. Tamis' 10th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-13 record. Miceta is a newcomer at Tamis and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to center Boban Marjanovic (222-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) of league's leader Mega Vizura. Marjanovic showcased his all-around game by recording 8 points, fifteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Mega Vizura, leading his team to a 81-74 win against the lower-ranked Radnicki Basket (#7, 12-12). Mega Vizura confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 19 victories and 5 lost games. Marjanovic has a great season in Serbia. After 23 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 12.4rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.5bpg and FGP: 75.0%.

Forward Nikola Kalinic (202-F-91) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Vojvodina, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13 (Second Stage). The 21-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, seven rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to edge out Mega Vizura (#3, 9-4) 88-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Vojvodina maintains the 4th position in Serbian A League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Vojvodina will need more victories to improve their 8-5 record. Kalinic has many years of experience at Vojvodina, through which he has constantly improved. Nikola Kalinic averages this season 10.8ppg.
The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Uros Nikolic (207-F/C-87) of Radnicki KG. Nikolic had a very good evening with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Of course he lead Radnicki KG to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Sloboda Uzice (#7, 3-10) 96-58. Radnicki KG's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 7-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Nikolic is one of the most experienced players at Radnicki KG and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was former international center Boban Marjanovic (222-C-88, agency: Beo Basket) of Mega Vizura (#3). Marjanovic scored 15 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Marjanovic's great performance Mega Vizura lost 85-88 to #4 ranked Vojvodina. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Mega Vizura needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 9 victories and 4 lost games. Marjanovic has a great season in Serbia. After 38 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.9ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 11.8rpg (#1 in league). He also has 1.6bpg and FGP: 68.9%.
