An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Cajetina. Second ranked Zlatibor faced 4th ranked Radnicki 1950. Host Zlatibor (16-4) defeated guests from Kragujevac (13-7) 78-64. The game was mostly controlled by Zlatibor. Radnicki 1950 managed to win third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zlatibor had a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Sanel Mukanovic (192-83) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 assists and 4 steals. Forward Stefan Kojic (202-92) chipped in 12 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized Hungarian Srdjan Stojanovic (197-91) produced 23 points and 5 assists for the guests. Radnicki 1950's coach Igor Todorovic rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zlatibor maintains second position with 16-4 record having just two points less than leader Vojvodina NS. Newly promoted Radnicki 1950 keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Napredak and Pirot. Zlatibor are looking forward to face Velika Plana (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Radnicki 1950 will play against Boljevac (#12) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Leader Vojvodina NS delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 10th ranked Kolubara (7-13) 93-86 in Lazarevac. Forward Stefan Stojacic (194-89, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds. Milos Grubor contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Vukasin Sindjelic replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds for Kolubara. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vojvodina NS (18-2) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Newly promoted Kolubara keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. Vojvodina NS will play against Napredak (#6) in Aleksinac in the next round where they are favorite. Kolubara will play on the road against Srem (#14) in Sremska Mitrovica and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Smed. Palanka supposed to be also quite interesting. 7th ranked The Ere (11-9) played at the court of eighth ranked Mladost SP (10-10). Mladost SP smashed The Ere 106-85 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of The Ere. Worth to mention a great performance of Nikola Cvorovic who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. Mladost SP's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. Milos Riboskic responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Mladost SP maintains eighth position with 10-10 record. The Ere at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. Mladost SP will meet higher ranked Pirot (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. The Ere will play against Futog and hope to secure a win.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Tupanjac, where higher ranked Napredak (13-7) lost to eleventh ranked Futog (6-14) in a road game 75-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Napredak. The winners were led by Vladimir Kovacevic who scored that evening 23 points and 7 rebounds. Napredak's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Futog maintains eleventh position with 6-14 record. Napredak at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. Futog's next round opponent will be higher ranked The Ere (#7) in Uzice and it may be quite challenging game. Napredak will play at home against the league's leader Vojvodina NS and will have a slim chance for a victory.

Rest of the games of round 20 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Pirot defeated Jagodina in a road game 88-82. Bottom-ranked Srem was beaten by Velika Plana at home 74-78. Proleter Naftagas won against Boljevac on the opponent's court 76-66.
The best stats of 20th round was 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists by Jovan Starincevic of Velika Plana.

Jagodina - Pirot 82-88

There was no surprise when 13th ranked KK Jagodina (3-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Pirot (13-7) 88-82. KK Jagodina was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Strangely KK Jagodina outrebounded Pirot 37-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by forward Dusan Filipovic (188-92) who scored that evening 25 points and 4 assists and power forward Martin Matovic (204-94) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pirot players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds by swingman Gordan Radulovic (195-90) did not help to save the game for KK Jagodina. Montenegrin guard Nikola Vujicic (185-89) added 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Pirot moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Napredak and Radnicki 1950. KK Jagodina lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Pirot's next round opponent will be Mladost SP (#8) in Smed. Palanka. KK Jagodina will play on the road against Proleter Naftagas (#3) in Zrenjanin and hope to win that game.

The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 106-85. Mladost SP outrebounded The Ere 37-21 including 28 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Mladost SP looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by The Ere's players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Nikola Cvorovic (197-94) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Vladimir Vranic (185-89) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. No shocking result in a game in Sremska Mitrovica where ninth ranked Velika Plana (9-11) defeated bottom-ranked Srem (2-17) 78-74. The guests were ahead by 12 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 20-14 run, which allowed them to win the game. Velika Plana dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Srem's 30 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Velika Plana brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by Srem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by point guard Jovan Starincevic (189-96, college: High School) who scored that evening 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and center Nemanja Arsic (214-85) supported him with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Kolubara - Vojvodina NS 86-93

Leader Vojvodina NS delivered the eighteenth victory. This time they beat 10th ranked Kolubara (7-13) 93-86 in Lazarevac. It looked good early as Kolubara took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Vojvodina NS had a 30-21 second period charge getting the lead and Kolubara was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 86-93. Kolubara was plagued by 35 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Stefan Stojacic (194-89, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Milos Grubor (201-91, agency: AproK Sports Group) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Vukasin Sindjelic replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Dragoslav Papic (205-87) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kolubara. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vojvodina NS (18-2) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Newly promoted Kolubara keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. Vojvodina NS will play against Napredak (#6) in Aleksinac in the next round where they are favorite. Kolubara will play on the road against Srem (#14) in Sremska Mitrovica and hopes to get back on the winning track.

MBK Handlova (SBL) signed 29-year old Serbian center Bojan Stanojevic (203-88). It is actually his comeback to MBK Handlova as he has played here before.
