Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Sonja Petrovic (189-89, currently plays in Euroleague). She was the major contributor in a USK Praha's victory against the closely-ranked Nadezhda Orenburg (10-4) 70-57 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. Petrovic scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 30 minutes on the court. ZVVZ USK Praha (9-5) is placed third in group A. Petrovic has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 17.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 3.0apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 52.8%, 3FGP: 37.3% and FT: 89.8% in 17 games she played so far. Petrovic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89, currently plays in Euroleague). She could not help Perfumerias Avenida (7-7) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Milovanovic's very good performance the third-placed Perfumerias Avenida (7-7) was defeated 87-80 on the road by the lower-ranked Fenerbahce (#4) in the group B of Euroleague. She was the top scorer with 18 points. Milovanovic also added 4 rebounds. This season Milovanovic has very high stats. She averages: 15.1ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 44.7%, 3FGP: 38.4% and FT: 76.2%. Milovanovic is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Ana Dabovic (183-89, currently plays in Russia). Dabovic led Dynamo Moscow to a victory against the closely-ranked Vologda-Chevakata (10-10) 75-70 in the Russian PBL in Saturday night's game. She recorded 16 points. Dynamo Moscow (9-11) is placed fifth in the PBL. Dabovic has relatively good stats this season: 12.5ppg, 2.6rpg, 3.3apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 43.2%, 3FGP: 37.9% and FT: 82.2%. She has a dual citizenship: Montenegrin and Serbian. Despite Dabovic played previously for the Montenegrin U18 national team, she is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Shooting guard Nevena Jovanovic (182-90, currently plays in France) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Basket Landes (13-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance Basket Landes was defeated 67-60 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Bourges (#4). Jovanovic was the top scorer with 13 points. She also added 7 rebounds. Jovanovic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Jovanovic has relatively solid stats: 13.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg. She is also Serbian national team player.

   #5. International point guard Tamara Radocaj (170-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Russia) faced previously mentioned Ana Dabovic in the Russian PBL last game. Radocaj was not able to secure a victory for Vologda-Chevakata (10-10) in their game against Dynamo Moscow (9-11), despite her very good performance in Saturday night's game. She was the top scorer with 17 points. Radocaj also added 4 rebounds and 6 assists in 33 minutes. But Vologda-Chevakata lost 70-75 in Moscow to the lower-ranked (#5) Dynamo. Radocaj has reliable stats this year: 10.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.0apg in 21 games. She plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #6. Shooting guard Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Galati (12-15) crushing them 84-56 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Wednesday. Butulija scored 19 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca (19-8) is placed second in Places 1-6 group. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. It's Butulija's first season with the team. Her stats this year are: 10.5ppg, 5.6rpg, 3.6apg and 1.2spg. Butulija is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

An experienced international shooting guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Brasov's victory against the third-ranked CSM Targoviste (18-9) 80-74 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. She scored 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 40 minutes. Olimpia CSU Brasov (15-12) is placed fourth in Places 1-6 group. Pesovic's team will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Pesovic averaged so far 14.6ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.0apg and 1.5spg in 26 games. She is also Serbian national team player.

Power forward Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Iasi (1-22) crushing them 78-41 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. Karakasevic had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 19 rebounds in 29 minutes. BC Univ. Goldis ICIM Arad (12-11) is placed first in Places 7-10 group. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. This year Karakasevic's overall stats are: 8.6ppg, 7.6rpg and 1.1apg in 19 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2015.

   #9. Former international power forward Maja Vucurovic (187-91, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help Gruner Stern Keltern (18-4) in their game against Herner TC (12-10) in the German DBBL. Vucurovic recorded 9 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 24 minutes. But Gruner Stern Keltern was crushed 76-49 in Herne by the lower-ranked (#5) r TC. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. The Regular Season already ended. This year Vucurovic's total stats are: 9.9ppg and 5.0rpg in 21 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #10. Guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87, currently plays in France) faced previously mentioned Nevena Jovanovic in the French LFB last game. Bojovic managed to help Tango Bourges Basket to win against the closely-ranked Basket Landes (13-8) 67-60. She scored only 4 points and added 4 assists. Bojovic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Bojovic has averaged so far 6.4ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.5apg and 1.7spg. She is a former international player as eight years ago she still played for the Serbian senior national team.

   #11. Former international guard Milica Ivanovic (175-88, agency: LBM Management, college: Catawba, currently plays in France) couldn't help Angers in their game against Flammes in the French LFB, despite her very good performance on Saturday night. Ivanovic was the top scorer with 16 points. She also added 3 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 26 minutes. But her team was badly defeated by 16 points 78-62. Ivanovic has averaged so far 9.7ppg and 1.3apg in three games. She used to play for the Serbian national team five years ago.

   #12. Former U20 international guard Aleksandra Racic (181-90, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a TH Wohnbau Angels' victory against the closely-ranked Fireballs 86-74 in the German DBBL in Saturday night's game. Racic recorded 22 points. Racic's stats this season are: 12.1ppg and 2.4rpg. She used to play for the Serbian U20 national team back in 2010.

   #13. Former international power forward Marina Markovic (185-91, currently plays in Germany) is a teammate of previously mentioned Maja Vucurovic and both played together in the last German DBBL game. Markovic couldn't help Gruner Stern Keltern in their game against Herner TC. She recorded 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Her team was crushed by 27 points 76-49. Markovic averaged so far 11.1ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

   #14. Former international center Biljana Stjepanovic (190-87, currently plays in WABA) helped her Montenegrin team Buducnost win their game against the league leader Montana 2003 44-41 in the WABA in Sunday night's game. Stjepanovic recorded 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 25 minutes. Stjepanovic has averaged so far 8.2ppg and 7.5rpg in 17 games. She used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2015.

   #15. Former international point guard Aleksandra Stanacev (167-94, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Socinsa Bembibre in their game against Campus Promete in the Spanish LFB. Stanacev scored 5 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 6 assists. Her team was defeated 74-66. Stanacev has averaged so far 7.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 4.3apg and 1.5spg. She used to play for the Serbian national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Lidija Turcinovic (184-SG-94, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in Flammes' victory against the league outsider Angers (3-18) 78-62 in the French LFB on Saturday night. She scored 15 points in a mere 17 minutes. Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (16-5) is placed second in the LFB. Turcinovic's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Turcinovic's overall stats are: 5.8ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.4apg in 21 games she played so far. She has a dual citizenship: Serbian and French. Despite Turcinovic's Serbian passport, she previously played for the French U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #2. Stephany Skrba (188-F-87, college: Michigan, currently plays in Greece) led Proteas to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Kronos AD (3-16) 79-60 in the Greek A1 last Sunday. Skrba was MVP of the game. She recorded 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 32 minutes. AEO Proteas Voulas (12-6) is placed third in the A1. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Skrba has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 16.0ppg, 13.5rpg and 1.4spg in 17 games. Skrba is another player who holds two passports: Canadian and Serbian.

   #3. Experienced Milica Micovic (182-G-84, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Reyer Venezia Mestre to win against the sixth-ranked Napoli (13-8) 67-61 in the Italian Serie A1 in Sunday night's game. Micovic scored only 4 points and added 4 assists. Reyer Venezia Mestre (17-3) is placed second in the Serie A1. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Micovic's overall stats this season are: 5.5ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.8apg. She has both Serbian and Italian nationalities.

   #4. Hristina Marjanovic (175-G-92, currently plays in Slovenia) could not help Ilrija (8-6) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Marjanovic's very good performance Ilrija (#3) was crushed 91-65 at home by the leading Athlete Celje in the Places 1-6 group. She was the top scorer with 15 points. Marjanovic also added 4 assists. This season Marjanovic has very high stats. She averages: 16.8ppg, 6.8rpg, 5.9apg and 2.9spg.

   #5. Brankica Hadzovic (175-G-81, currently plays in Romania) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Iasi (1-22) crushing them 78-41 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Saturday. Hadzovic scored 13 points and added 3 assists in 37 minutes. BC Univ. Goldis ICIM Arad (12-11) is placed first in Places 7-10 group. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. Hadzovic averaged so far 15.0ppg, 3.6rpg and 4.0apg in 21 games.

   #6. Ivana Raca (190-SG-99, currently plays in Greece) is a teammate of previously mentioned Stephany Skrba and both played together in the last Greek A1 game. Raca contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Kronos AD 79-60. She recorded 6 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 19 minutes. Raca has averaged so far 5.9ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.1spg in 18 games. She also holds two passports: Serbian and Cypriot. Despite Raca's Serbian nationality, she previously played for the Cypriot U16 national team and probably cannot be called to the Serbian team.

   #7. Tijana Krivacevic (196-F-90, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help one of league's weakest teams Girne Universitesi (5-16) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Krivacevic's good performance Girne Universitesi was defeated 73-65 on the road by the higher-ranked Samsun (#11). She scored 11 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Krivacevic averaged so far 10.7ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.5apg and 1.9spg. She has dual citizenship: Serbian and Hungarian.

   #8. Kristina Ostojic (190-F/C-91, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Civitanova's victory against the 12th-ranked Palermo 62-54 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Saturday night's game. Ostojic recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Ostojic averaged so far 13.1ppg and 8.7rpg.

   #9. Ivana Jovanovic (185-F-85, currently plays in Denmark) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Amager 58-41 in the Danish Dameligaen on Saturday night. She recorded 13 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Jovanovic averaged so far 12.7ppg, 5.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.2spg.

   #10. Tamara Milovac (186-C-86, currently plays in Portugal) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Clube Desportivo Torres Novas crushing them 77-46 in the Portuguese Liga Feminina in Sunday night's game. She scored only 2 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 25 minutes. Milovac has averaged so far 7.2ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.2apg in 18 games. She has dual citizenship: Serbian and Portuguese.

Power forward Bojana Stevanovic (180-F/C-96) put on an amazing game in the last round for Sabac, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2. The 21-year old player was the main contributor (15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Vrsac (#12, 0-2) with 55-point margin 99-44. There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in 1 ZLS. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Spartak (1-1) in Subotica on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Vrbas Medela (1-1) 79-65. The game was mostly controlled by Vrbas Medela. Spartak managed to win fourth quarter 22-20.
