The Regular Season in 2MLS is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Pirot. First ranked Vojvodina NS faced 4th placed Pirot. Guests from Novi Sad (20-3) defeated host Pirot (15-8) 89-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pirot. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-75. Vojvodina NS forced 21 Pirot turnovers and outrebounded them 38-16 including a 27-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Krsto Bjelica (191-88) who scored 27 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Milos Grubor (201-91, agency: AproK Sports Group) chipped in 21 points. point guard Nikola Djonlic (181-93) produced 17 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vojvodina NS maintains first place with 20-3 record. Pirot at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Napredak and Radnicki 1950. Vojvodina NS are looking forward to face Proleter Naftagas (#3) in Zrenjanin in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pirot will play on the road against Napredak in Aleksinac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Srem managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses. This time they won against twelfth-ranked Boljevac in Sremska Mitrovica 83-77. Forward Djordjo Djordjic (198-78) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Knezevic contributed with 23 points for the winners. Srem's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Nenad Grujo (204-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for Boljevac. Srem maintains fourteenth place with 3-19 record. Newly promoted Boljevac keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Srem will play against higher ranked KK Jagodina (#13) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boljevac will play against the league's second-placed Zlatibor and will have a slim chance for a victory.
The game in Uzice supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Napredak (15-8) played at the court of seventh ranked The Ere (13-10). The Ere smashed Napredak 97-69 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Napredak. It was a great evening for Pavle Roganovic who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 assists. Stefan Stanisavljevic responded with 19 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The Ere maintains seventh place with 13-10 record. Loser Napredak dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Pirot and Radnicki 1950. The Ere will meet Kolubara (#10) in the next round. Napredak will play against Pirot (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Thirteenth-ranked KK Jagodina (4-19) made lots of trouble for ninth ranked Velika Plana (10-13). Velika Plana managed to secure only one-point victory 53-52. However their fans expected much easier game. It was an exceptional evening for Djordje Ciric who led the winners and scored 24 points. Velika Plana's coach Zoran Milovanovic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Velika Plana moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Mladost SP. KK Jagodina at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 19 games lost. Velika Plana's next round opponent will be Mladost SP (#9) in Smed. Palanka. KK Jagodina will play at home against Srem (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Zrenjanin. Local Proleter Naftagas (17-5) outscored 11th ranked Futog (6-17) 98-63 on Saturday night. The best player for the winners was Stefan Atanackovic who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Coach Zoran Bajin's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Proleter Naftagas have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Vojvodina NS. Futog lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Proleter Naftagas will face league's leader Vojvodina NS in Novi Sad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Futog will play at home against Radnicki 1950 (#5) and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 23 Mladost SP was crushed by Radnicki 1950 in Kragujevac 96-77. Zlatibor smashed Kolubara at home 88-69.
The best stats of 23th round was 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Matija Zunic of Sloboda Uzice.

Sloboda Uzice - Napredak 97-69

The game in Uzice supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Napredak (15-8) played at the court of seventh ranked The Ere (13-10). The Ere smashed Napredak 97-69 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Napredak. The game was mostly controlled by The Ere. Napredak managed to win fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The Ere shot 64.4 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. The Ere looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Napredak's players. It was a great evening for Montenegrin Pavle Roganovic (-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 assists. Forward Branko Andjic (201-82) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. Five The Ere players scored in double figures. Point guard Stefan Stanisavljevic (190-93) responded with 19 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and power forward Dragoljub Sikman (200-87) scored 4 points and 9 rebounds. The Ere maintains seventh place with 13-10 record. Loser Napredak dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Pirot and Radnicki 1950. The game with biggest result difference took place in Zrenjanin. Local Proleter Naftagas (17-5) outscored 11th ranked Futog (6-17) 98-63 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Proleter Naftagas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Futog's 36. Proleter Naftagas forced 20 Futog turnovers and outrebounded them 46-33 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Stefan Atanackovic (196-84) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Nemanja Subotic (196-84) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Proleter Naftagas players scored in double figures. Coach Zoran Bajin's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Jovan Ostojic produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Boris Krstanovic added 7 points and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Proleter Naftagas have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 17-5 record having four points less than leader Vojvodina NS. Futog lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. There was no surprise in Kragujevac where 8th ranked Mladost SP (10-13) was crushed by sixth ranked Radnicki 1950 (15-8) 96-77 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 96-77. Radnicki 1950 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Mladost SP's 40. The best player for the winners was forward Nikola Kostic (197-96, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. Naturalized Hungarian Srdjan Stojanovic (197-91) chipped in 19 points. Zeljko Stanisavljevic produced 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and point guard Petar Sparovic (175-89) added 15 points and 8 assists respectively for the guests. Zlatibor - Kolubara 88-69

No shocking result in a game in Cajetina where second ranked Zlatibor (19-4) smashed 10th ranked Kolubara (8-15) 88-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Zlatibor. Kolubara was better in fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zlatibor dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kolubara's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Kolubara's players. Kolubara was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Miroslav Radic (195-84) who scored 20 points. Forward Stefan Kojic (202-92) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Andrija Draskovic (197-94) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and Dalibor Ilic (-0) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Zlatibor. They maintain second place with 19-4 record behind leader Vojvodina NS. Newly promoted Kolubara keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. Zlatibor will face Boljevac (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kolubara will play against The Ere and hope to win that game.

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in KLS. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Borac (1-1) in Cacak on Wednesday night.
