The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

The game between second ranked Borac (17-6) and fourth ranked Spartak (14-9) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Borac was defeated by Spartak in a tough game in Subotica 75-82. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Borac. 28 personal fouls committed by Borac helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Nikola Hristov (190-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Guard Milos Nikolic (185-96) contributed with 12 points for the winners. point guard Marko Radonjic (191-93) answered with 11 points and 4 steals for Borac. Borac's coach Rasko Bojic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Spartak maintains fourth place with 14-9 record. Borac at the other side dropped to the third position with six games lost. Spartak are looking forward to face Mladost ZE (#6) in Zemun in the next round. Borac will play at home against OKK Beograd and is hoping to win this game.
KLS top team - Vrsac (19-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Beovuk 72 (12-11) in Beograd 91-87. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Beovuk 72. It was a great evening for power forward Nikola Jeftic (205-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Mirko Djeric helped adding 25 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Stefan Fundic (199-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. Vrsac have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-4 record. Beovuk 72 at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Vrsac will play against Metalac (#9) in Valjevo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Beovuk 72 will play on the road against Tamis in Pancevo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Twelfth-ranked Sloga (7-16) used its home court advantage to challenge fifth ranked Dunav SB (13-10) in Kraljevo on Wednesday. The visitors from Stari Banovci managed to secure only one-point victory 61-60. However their fans expected much easier game. It was an exceptional evening for Nemanja Nenadic who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Dunav SB's coach Vuk Stanimirovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Vuk Jovanovic came up with 11 points and 7 assists for Sloga in the defeat. Newly promoted Dunav SB maintains fifth place with 13-10 record, which they share with Mladost ZE and Tamis. Sloga lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Dunav SB will meet at home bottom-ranked Smederevo (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sloga will play against the league's second-placed Dynamic BG in Beograd and hope to secure a win.
The game between 14th ranked Smederevo (2-21) and eighth ranked Tamis (13-10) in Smederevo ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Pancevo beat Smederevo 89-76. The best player for the winners was Igor Kesar who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tamis moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Mladost ZE and Dunav SB. Smederevo lost their seventh game in a row. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. Tamis' next round opponent will be Beovuk 72 (#8) in Beograd. Smederevo will play on the road against Dunav SB (#5) in Stari Banovci and hope to win that game.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 23: Mladost ZE beat Metalac on the road 78-73. Napredak K. lost to Dynamic BG on its own court 73-85. Konstantin unfortunately lost to OKK Beograd in a road game 70-74.

Beovuk 72 - Vrsac 87-91

KLS top team - Vrsac (19-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Beovuk 72 (12-11) in Beograd 91-87. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Beovuk 72. Vrsac made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Beovuk 72 was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for power forward Nikola Jeftic (205-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Australian guard Mirko Djeric (191-95) helped adding 25 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Mladost ZE moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tamis and Dunav SB. Metalac at the other side keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Mladost ZE's next round opponent will be higher ranked Spartak (#4) in Subotica and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Metalac will play on the road against the league's leader Vrsac (#1) and hope to win that game.

BK Inter Bratislava (SBL) confirmed in their roster 27-year old Serbian point guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports). He played there last season.
