Here is the weekly review of the top performing Serbian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Nikola Milutinov (212-94, currently plays in Euroleague). He could not help Olympiacos (19-10) in their last game. Despite Milutinov's very good performance Olympiacos lost 73-79 at home to the leading Real Madrid. He was the top scorer with 18 points. Milutinov also added 4 rebounds in 21 minutes on the court. His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Milutinov averages: 4.3ppg, 3.4rpg, 2FGP: 56.3%(45-80) and FT: 69.8% in 28 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Euroleague). Teodosic was the major contributor in CSKA's victory against the league outsider Unics Kazan (7-22) 85-74 in the Euroleague last Friday. He recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and making the same number of passes. CSKA Moscow (21-8) is placed second in the Euroleague. Teodosic's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. It's Teodosic's sixth season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Teodosic averages: 15.8ppg, 2.3rpg, 7.3apg, 2FGP: 57.1%(52-91), 3FGP: 37.3% and FT: 91.3%(73-80). He is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA). Jokic led Denver Nuggets to a victory over the Indiana Pacers (37-39) 125-117 in the NBA on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. Jokic had a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 17 rebounds. He also added 5 assists in 34 minutes. The Denver Nuggets have 35-40 record this season. Jokic has very impressive stats this year: 16.5ppg, 9.6rpg, 4.8apg, 2FGP: 62.6%(399-637), 3FGP: 34.2% and FT: 82.2% in 66 games. Ex-BC Mega Leks player is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #4. Swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92, currently plays in Euroleague) was not able to help Fenerbahce (17-12) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Fenerbahce was defeated 61-56 on the road by the leading Real Madrid. Bogdanovic was the top scorer with 15 points. He also added 4 rebounds. Bogdanovic's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is quite important. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this season: 13.6ppg, 2.9rpg and 3.9apg. He is also Serbian national team player.

International center Vladimir Stimac (210-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Turkey) contributed to an easy victory against the 14th-ranked Demir IBB (6-17) 84-67 in the Turkish BSL last Saturday. Stimac had a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 12 rebounds in a mere 16 minutes. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (18-5) is placed third in the BSL. This year Stimac has relatively solid stats: 14.8ppg and 9.8rpg in 23 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

Guard Stefan Markovic (199-88, currently plays in VTB United League) contributed to a 3-point Zenit's victory against the closely-ranked Lokomotiv (13-5) 83-80 in the VTB United League on Saturday night. Markovic scored 17 points and added 7 passes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Zenit Saint Petersburg (18-3) is placed second in the VTB United League. It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the VTB United League Regular Season. So now every game will be important. It's Markovic's first season with the team. His overall stats this year are: 9.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 7.9apg and 1.6spg. Markovic is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

An experienced former international center Rasko Katic (208-80, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in FIBA Europe Cup) was the main contributor in Oostende's victory against the leader Chalon/Saor (5-1) 85-80 in the FIBA Europe Cup in Wednesday night's game. He was the best player in that game. Katic recorded 23 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 29 minutes. Telenet BC Oostendeis placed sixth in group Q. Katic has very impressive stats this year: 15.8ppg, 6.0rpg and 1.2apg in five games. He used to play for the Serbian national team three years ago.

Swingman Branko Cvetkovic (200-84, agency: AproK Sports Group, currently plays in Lebanon) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Tadamon (7-13) crushing them 113-67 in the Lebanese Pepsi LBL last Tuesday. Cvetkovic recorded 19 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (6-0) is placed first in Group B. So far his team won all six games in the Second Stage. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. This season Cvetkovic has very high stats. He averages: 15.9ppg, 4.1rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg. Cvetkovic used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2008.

Former U20 international power forward Nikola Jankovic (207-94, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Slovenia) was not able to secure a victory for Un.Olimpija (2-1) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Jankovic's very good performance the fourth-placed Un.Olimpija (2-1) was edged 75-74 in Rogaska Slatina by the leading Rogaska in the Places 1-6 group. He recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and getting 10 rebounds. Jankovic has reliable stats this season: 13.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 1.4apg and 1.6spg. He used to play for the Serbian U20 national team three years ago.

   #10. Forward Nikola Kalinic (202-91, currently plays in Turkey) is a teammate of previously mentioned Bogdan Bogdanovic. But that was another game of his team in Turkish BSL which we would like to mention. Kalinic contributed to Fenerbahce's victory against one of league's weakest teams Balikesir (5-18) 79-68. He scored 10 points and added 3 assists in 26 minutes. Fenerbahce Istanbul (18-4) is placed first in the BSL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Kalinic's overall stats are: 7.8ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.7apg in 19 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Serbian National Team roster.

   #11. International swingman Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89, currently plays in Germany) contributed to a 1-point ALBA Berlin's victory against the closely-ranked BBC Bayreuth 77-76 in the German BBL on Friday night. Milosavljevic was the top player that evening. He scored 19 points and grabbed 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Milosavljevic's stats this season are: 12.9ppg, 3.3rpg and 3.9apg. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #12. Former international forward Vladimir Micov (201-85, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Euroleague) couldn't help Galatasaray (10-19) in their last game. Despite Micov's very good performance Galatasaray lost 67-73 in a derby game to the higher-ranked (#9) Darussafaka. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Micov also added 5 rebounds in 30 minutes. Micov averaged so far 11.2ppg, 3.6rpg and 2.4apg in 28 games. He used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2014.

   #13. International point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Unicaja Malaga (15-9) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Nedovic's very good performance Unicaja Malaga was defeated 81-77 in Valencia by the lower-ranked Basket (#12). He was the top scorer with 15 points. Nedovic also added 3 passes. Nedovic averaged so far 14.0ppg, 1.4rpg and 3.7apg. He is also Serbian national team player.

   #14. International power forward Milan Macvan (206-89, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Armani Milano (20-4) in their last game. Despite Macvan's good performance the league leader Armani Milano lost 74-85 in Pistoia to the much lower-ranked (#10) The Flexx PT. He scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 25 minutes. Macvan averaged so far 10.9ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.7apg in 18 games. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #15. International small forward Vladimir Lucic (201-89, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the 16th-ranked Braunschweig crushing them 80-58 in the German BBL last Sunday. Lucic scored 8 points, had 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 24 minutes. This year Lucic's total stats are: 9.0ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.6apg in 25 games. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90, currently plays in Greece) was the major contributor in Aris' victory against the 12th-ranked Kymis (7-17) 80-77 in the Greek A1 on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 14 points and getting 10 rebounds. Jankovic also added 3 assists in 31 minutes. Aris Thessaloniki (14-10) is placed fourth in the A1. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. This year Jankovic's overall stats are: 8.7ppg, 3.9rpg and 2.6apg in 19 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek.

   #2. Dusan Sakota (210-SF-86, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an AEK Athens' victory against the league outsider Doxa Lefkadas (4-20) 68-64 in the Greek A1 in Saturday night's game. Sakota scored 9 points, had 5 rebounds and dished 3 assists. AEK Athens (18-6) is placed third in the A1. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Sakota averaged so far 11.8ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.1apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Greek. Despite Sakota's Serbian nationality, he previously played for the Greek U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #3. Experienced Aleksandar Capin (186-PG-82, currently plays in Slovenia) could not help KK Primorska (11-2) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Capin's very good performance KK Primorska was edged 82-81 on the road by the second-ranked Sencur Gorenjska gradbena druzba Kranj in the Places 7-12 group. He was the second best scorer with 19 points. Capin also added 5 assists. Capin has averaged so far 7.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 3.9apg. He has both Serbian and Slovenian nationalities.

   #4. Dusan Djordjevic (193-G-83, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Belgium) contributed to Oostende's victory against the closely-ranked Antwerp Giants (17-9) 72-64 in the Belgian Euromillions League on Saturday night. Djordjevic scored 9 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 6 assists in 25 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Telenet BC Oostende (22-4) is placed first in the Euromillions League. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Djordjevic is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Oostende's roster. He has averaged so far 7.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.6apg and 1.2spg in 26 games.

   #5. Boris Savovic (208-F-87, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in ABA League) led his Montenegrin team Buducnost to a victory over the league leader Crvena Zvezda (25-1) 63-57 in the ABA League in Tuesday night's game. Savovic was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 11 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (18-8) is placed fourth in the ABA League. Savovic averaged so far 10.7ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.4apg. He also holds two passports: Serbian and Montenegrin. Despite Savovic's Serbian nationality, he previously played for the Montenegrin U20 national team and probably cannot be called to the Serbian team.

   #6. Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: 011 Sports, currently plays in Baltic League) was not able to help Kalev/Cramo in their last game. Despite Mirkovic's very good performance Kalev/Cramo (#2) lost 60-72 at home to the leading Tartu Ulikool in the group Q of Baltic League. He was the top scorer with 17 points. Mirkovic also added 4 assists in 25 minutes. Mirkovic averaged so far 14.6ppg, 2.4rpg, 4.6apg and 1.6spg in five games. He holds both Serbian and Bulgarian passports.

   #7. Mladen Pantic (209-C-82, another player represented by 011 Sports, currently plays in FYR Macedonia) was the main contributor in a 1-point Feni Industries' victory against the sixth-ranked Kumanovo 99-98 in the FYR Macedonian Prva Liga last Saturday. Pantic was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 11 rebounds. Pantic also added 3 assists. Pantic has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 18.0ppg, 5.8rpg and 2.5apg.

   #8. Nikola Lepojevic (195-S/F-82, currently plays in Russia) contributed to Universitet-Yugra's victory against the seventh-ranked TEMP-SUMZ Revda 89-85 in the Russian Superleague 1 (second division) on Saturday night. Lepojevic was the top player that evening. He recorded 31 points (!!!) and grabbed 6 rebounds in 35 minutes. Lepojevic has very impressive stats this year: 22.6ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.9apg in 25 games.

   #9. Milos Miljkovic (205-C/F-84, currently plays in Slovenia) contributed to Zlatorog's victory against the fifth-ranked Helios 67-60 in the Slovenian Liga Nova KBM on Saturday night. He scored 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Miljkovic has averaged so far 7.0ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.3spg.

   #10. Nikola Djuric (201-C/F-91, currently plays in Bulgaria) was not able to secure a victory for Cherno More (5-16) in their last game. Despite his very good performance Cherno More was crushed 94-71 in Botevgrad by the higher-ranked (#5) Balkan. Djuric was the top scorer with 27 points. He also added 7 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 31 minutes. Djuric averaged so far 11.3ppg and 5.6rpg in 21 games.

Polpharma Starogard Gdanski (PLK) signed 26-year old Serbian power forward Milan Milovanovic (205-91, agency: 011 Sports). He played last season at Borac in Serbian KLS league. Milovanovic managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 17 KLS games he had 8.2ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.0spg. He also played that season for BC Prievidza in Slovakian SBL where in 20 games he recorded 9.0ppg, 4.4rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3bpg. BC Partizan NiS Beograd (KLS) is close to land experienced 61-year old coach Miroslav Nikolic (agency: Alti Sport) who worked most lately at Dynamic BG Beograd. Among achievements Nikolic won Serbian 2MLS championship title in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Serbian 2MLS Coach of the Year award in 2016.
