We bring you last week's top performances from Serbians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Milos Teodosic (195-87, currently plays in Euroleague). He led his Russian team CSKA to a victory over the closely-ranked Olympiacos (19-11) 90-86 in the Euroleague in Friday night's game. Teodosic was MVP of the game. He scored 23 points and added 4 passes in 32 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. CSKA Moscow (22-8) is placed second in the Euroleague. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Teodosic's sixth season with the team. Teodosic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 7.2apg, 2FGP: 57.7%(56-97), 3FGP: 37.8% and FT: 90.8%(79-87) in 24 games he played so far. Teodosic is currently a member of the Serbian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international swingman Bogdan Bogdanovic (198-92, currently plays in Turkey). He was the main contributor in Fenerbahce's victory against the fifth-ranked Banvit (17-8) 86-75 in the Turkish BSL last Sunday. Bogdanovic was the best player in that game. He recorded 18 points and added 9 assists. Fenerbahce Istanbul (20-5) is placed first in the BSL. Bogdanovic has relatively good stats this season: 13.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.7apg, 2FGP: 59.4%(38-64), 3FGP: 29.1% and FT: 90.5%(19-21). He is in the roster of the Serbian senior national team.

   #3. The Serbian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Vladimir Stimac (210-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Turkey). Stimac contributed to a 1-point Besiktas' victory against the ninth-ranked Tofas (10-15) 95-94 in the Turkish BSL on Saturday night. He had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 17 rebounds. Stimac also added 4 assists in 34 minutes. Besiktas Sompo Japan Istanbul (20-5) is placed third in the BSL. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. This year Stimac has relatively solid stats: 14.6ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 69.3%(147-212) and FT: 60.3% in 25 games. He is also a member of the Serbian senior national team.

Center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA) contributed to a Denver Nuggets' victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder (47-35) 111-105 in the NBA in Wednesday night's game. Jokic was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points and getting 16 rebounds. Jokic also added 8 assists and 5 blocks. The Denver Nuggets have 40-42 record this season. The Regular Season already ended in the NBA. This year Jokic has very high stats. He averages: 16.7ppg, 9.8rpg and 4.9apg. International center Boban Marjanovic (222-88, also represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in NBA) helped Detroit Pistons win their game against the Houston Rockets 114-109 in the NBA on Friday night. Marjanovic was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and getting 12 rebounds. Marjanovic's total stats this season are: 5.6ppg and 3.8rpg. He plays currently for the Serbian national team.

   #12. Former international center Rasko Katic (208-80, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Belgium) helped Oostende win their game against the eighth-ranked Belfius Mons-Hainaut crushing them 86-56 in the Belgian Euromillions League in Saturday night's game. Katic was the top player that evening. He scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 23 minutes. Katic averaged so far 12.8ppg, 4.7rpg and 1.2apg in 28 games. He used to play for the Serbian national team back in 2014.

   #13. Former University international power forward Tadija Dragicevic (206-86, another player represented by AproK Sports Group, currently plays in Greece) could not help Aris (15-11) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Dragicevic's good performance Aris was defeated 75-70 on the road by the lower-ranked Lavrio (#8). He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Dragicevic also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Dragicevic averaged so far 10.2ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.7apg. He used to play for the Serbian university national team eight years ago.

   #14. U20 international guard Vojislav Stojanovic (199-97, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Betaland Cdo (14-13) in their last game. Despite Stojanovic's good performance Betaland Cdo lost 64-74 in Sassari to the higher-ranked (#4) Banco di Srd. He scored 12 points, had 8 rebounds, passed 6 assists and added 5 blocks in 39 minutes. This year Stojanovic's total stats are: 8.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 1.6apg in 27 games. He plays currently for the Serbian U20 national team.

   #15. International swingman Dragan Milosavljevic (198-89, currently plays in Germany) helped ALBA Berlin win their game against the 14th-ranked Walter Tigers 89-72 in the German BBL last Saturday. He scored 16 points and added 3 assists in 28 minutes. Milosavljevic averaged so far 12.8ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.9apg in 30 games. He is also in the roster of the Serbian national team.


The list of other players, who all have Serbian passport but never been selected to any of Serbian national teams:

   #1. Dusan Sakota (210-SF-86, agency: BeoBasket, currently plays in Greece) led AEK Athens to a 1-point victory over the seventh-ranked Kolossos HH (13-13) 82-81 in the Greek A1 last Saturday. He was the top player that evening. Sakota recorded 21 points in 28 minutes. AEK Athens (19-7) is placed third in the A1. The Regular Season already ended. Sakota has reliable stats this year: 12.3ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.2apg in 24 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Serbian and Greek. Despite Sakota's Serbian passport, he previously played for the Greek U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Serbian team.

   #2. Experienced Uros Mirkovic (205-F/C-82, agency: BeoExcell, currently plays in Poland) was the major contributor in Polpharma's victory against one of league's weakest teams Polfarmex (5-24) 86-72 in the Polish PLK in Wednesday night's game. Mirkovic recorded 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Polpharma Starogard Gdanski (17-13) is placed seventh in the PLK. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. Mirkovic averaged so far 10.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.4apg.

   #3. Vladimir Jankovic (202-F-90, currently plays in Greece) contributed to Aris' victory against the closely-ranked AEK Athens (19-7) 81-77 in the Greek A1 last Thursday. Jankovic scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Aris Thessaloniki (15-11) is placed fourth in the A1. The Regular Season already ended. Jankovic has averaged so far 8.5ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.5apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Serbian and Greek.

   #4. Branko Mirkovic (190-G-82, agency: 011 Sports, currently plays in Estonia) led Kalev/Cramo to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams BC Rakvere (9-23) crushing them 102-74 in the Estonian Alexela KML on Monday night. Mirkovic recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists in 21 minutes. BC Kalev/Cramo Tallinn (29-3) is placed third in the Alexela KML. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. Mirkovic averaged so far 13.3ppg, 3.5rpg and 4.8apg in four games. He has both Serbian and Bulgarian nationalities.

   #5. Tomislav Ivosev (204-F-90, also represented by 011 Sports, currently plays in Hungary) led KTE-Duna to a 2-point victory over the fifth-ranked Sopron KC (13-17) 88-86 in the Hungarian A Division in Saturday night's game. Ivosev was the top player that evening. He recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points and getting 11 rebounds. Ivosev also added 3 assists. KTE-Duna Aszfalt (15-15) is placed third in Places 6-10 group. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. Ivosev has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.1ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg. Ivosev also holds two passports: Serbian and Hungarian.

   #6. DeMarcus Nelson (193-G-85, college: Duke, currently plays in France). He could not help ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket to beat Monaco. Nelson scored 9 points and added 6 passes. His team was defeated 92-88. Nelson has averaged so far 8.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.3apg and 1.2spg. He is a naturalized American. Nelson used to play for Crvena Zvezda Telekom Beograd in Serbian league.

   #7. Zarko Djuric (202-F-89, currently plays in Slovakia) led Levice to a victory over the closely-ranked Rieker KN 95-91 in the Slovakian SBL last Saturday. He was the top player that evening. Djuric scored 24 points, had 8 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 39 minutes. Djuric averaged so far 13.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg in 38 games.

   #8. Oliver Stevic (204-F/C-84, another player represented by BeoBasket, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a 3-point Andorra's victory against the third-ranked CB Canarias 85-82 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Saturday night. He recorded 12 points. Stevic has averaged so far 9.0ppg and 3.7rpg.

   #9. Milivoje Mijovic (200-PF-91, currently plays in FYR Macedonia) was the main contributor in Kozuv's victory against the fifth-ranked Kumanovo 86-78 in the FYR Macedonian Prva Liga in Saturday night's game. He was the top player that evening. Mijovic recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and getting 15 rebounds. He also added 4 assists. This season Mijovic has very high stats. He averages: 15.6ppg, 10.6rpg and 1.9apg.

   #10. Milovan Savic (205-C-87, currently plays in Bulgaria) was not able to help Spartak Pleven (10-13) in their last game. Despite Savic's very good performance Spartak Pleven was edged 97-96 on the road by the second-ranked Academik Plovdiv. He had a double-double by scoring 18 points and getting 14 rebounds. Savic also added 6 assists in 40 minutes. Savic has very impressive stats this year: 16.3ppg, 8.6rpg, 2.9apg and 1.3spg in 19 games. He has Montenegrin and Serbian nationalities. Despite Savic's Serbian passport, he previously played for the Montenegrin U21 national team and probably cannot be called to the Serbian team.
