Good Angels defended their Extraliga title. They outlasted MBK Ruzomberok in a thrilling championship series. The Kosice team gained the crucial win tonight to claim 3-2 win in the series. Allie Quigley (180-G-86, college: De Paul) stepped up with 24 points to pace the winners. Good Angels jumped to a 19:15 lead after ten minutes of action. The second frame belonged to the hosts. Good Angels reeled off to a 44:23 halftime advantage. MBK Ruzomberok stopped the rot in the third term. The visitors revived the intrigue cutting the deficit at 15-point mark with ten minutes remaining. But Good Angles fired 20 points in the final stanza and sealed the winning outcome at the end. Miljana Bojovic (181-G-87) delivered 22 points, while Lucia Kupcikova (184-F-84) netted 10 points for the winners. Nadia Parker (191-C-87, college: USC) responded with 19 points for MBK Ruzomberok. Eva Kmetova (188-C-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) had 10 points in the loss.

Good Angels clinched the Slovakian Cup title. They defeated MBK Ruzomberok 76:58 in the Final tonight. Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90) scored 16 points to pace the winners. Good Angels built a safe cushion in the first half. They posted a 20:14 lead after ten minutes. The Kosice team went on a 21:3 run in the second quarter to establish a 41:17 halftime advantage. The gap grew in the third term and Good Angels never looked back en route to the victory afterwards. Allie Quigley (180-G-86, college: De Paul) finished with 15 points, while Helena Sverrisdottir (185-F/G-88, college: TCU) and Miljana Bojovic (181-G-87) added 8 points each for the winners. Klaudia Lukacovicova (193-C-90) answered with 12 points for MBK Ruzomberok. Nadia Parker (191-C-87, college: USC) and Janka Mincikova (172-PG-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had 7 points each in the loss. SBK Samorin claimed the third position. They outgunned Piestanske Cajki 64:44 in the consolation final behind 11 points from Stefanie Murphy (192-F/C-89, agency: TSS Management, college: Boston Coll.).
