BK SPU Nitra signed 29-year old American guard Clifford Crawford (194-G-81, college: N.Carolina St., agency: Strategic Sports). Crawford played most recently at Astrum Levice (Extraliga). While playing 9 games for Levice this season he averaged 14.3ppg, 5.2rpg, 8.6apg and 2.4spg. Crawford played also pro basketball in Austria and Germany.
