Hello world its been a minute sorry I've been gone. As in my earlier blogs I told you the season would have its ups and downs. The roller-coaster is reaching its end and we are moving towards our peak. It has been a long season, wins loses fusses fights, the making of a great season. There is now 3 games left for my club in the regular season, we have been through the fire. We have experienced defeat in the worst way we have escaped with victory many nights, we fight every night and we battle as a team. I am feeling very confident in the guys in the locker room with me, we all want to win so badly. We practice against each other everyday so hard that when its time for a real game we are like hungry dogs, starving for a win. Some nights we satisfy our hunger for victory some nights we come up short but we fight, we fight, we fight until every man is spent (Red Tails Remix lol). The playoffs will be here in the blink of an eye, and I am positive everybody is ready compete at the highest level. WE are up for the challenge to face any team in this league, home or on the road! The playoffs will be very interesting and anyone can lose on any given night. I am excited to see how the season will end and what seed we will get. We are preparing for the playoffs NOW, every game and every practice. I feel we are always the underdog and always underestimated, but we are prepared to go to war with ANY team in this league, and we will be prepared to engage in competitive combat. Komarno will be a tough out for anybody!!!!!! We've lost some games we've won some games, but through victory and through defeat we've always kept the same workman mentality. On most teams the Americans play for stats and that's in any country, lets be quite frank that's how we stay with jobs. On this team we play for WINS and that is the great equalizer everybody wants a winner. We follow our leader Johnathan Jones as he goes we go and he has a great supporting cast, anybody can go off any given night, personally I feel he is one of the most underrated guards in Europe and has been playing with a chip on his shoulder all season. If he so happens to stumble I and and WE as a team will be there to pick him up. Last year in Spisska I was in this same position and I felt the sour taste of an early 2nd round exit. This year I am hungry and more determined than ever to make ALL the winning plays, plays that don't show up in the stat sheet. Weather that is being a energy, a scorer, a re-bounder, a defender, I plan on trying to make all the right plays down the stretch to help this club win games. Always been the one counted out, never counted in remember this moment, it's all about winning if you don't think so you lost. I've been working and working quietly I'm READY ARE YOU????? Until then Chao world tune in to your boy on twitter: @BigLou_LJ catch me in the gym putting in work. #iJustWantToWin

Jervon
Pressley
Jervon Pressley (ex Dresden) is a newcomer at Lucenec - 12 hours ago
Newly promoted MBK Lucenec (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old American power forward Jervon Pressley (203-113kg-95, college: Hampton). He played recently at Dresden Titans in German ProA, but left the team earlier this month. In 10 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 6.3rpg and 2.0bpg this season. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Pressley's college team won MEAC Tournament for two years in a row (2015 and 2016). He graduated from Hampton Uni...   [read more]

SBL Round 27: Inter Bratislava edges Rieker KN by one point - 21 hours ago
Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Fifth-ranked Rieker KN (12-11) made lots of trouble for second ranked Inter Bratislava (19-6) on Saturday. Inter Bratislava managed to secure only one-point victory 90-89. However their fans expected easier game. Rieker KN was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 23-17 charge of Inter Bratislava, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assi...   [read more]
