The first game of final series was very close. Although Kosice went in front by 7 points in the first quarter, Ruzomberok managed to tie the game at 27-27 thanks to great performance of Amy Jaeschke (196-C-89, college: Northwestern). She even put Ruzomberok on top, but then the hosts run away from their rivals by pouring 8 points in row. Double digit margin was accomplished in the third frame. Ruzomberok came with too many needles fouls but in the last frame they managed to erase the deficit and found themselves 57-56 ahead with 7 minutes to go. Natalia Vieru (197-C-89) and Katarina Tetemondova (188-F/C-88) were forced to leave the court 6 minutes before the buzzer due to foul trouble. Good Angels could relied on Danielle McCray (180-G/F-87, college: Kansas) who led them in offence as well as in defence. After a hard fought encounter the hosts won by 10 points.
