Slovak Republic U20-Denmark U20 62:81

Slovak Republic lost to Denmark in the last game for both teams at the U20 European Championship in Division B. The Danish side finished on the 11th place after 81:62 win. Slovak Republic finished the tournament on the 12th place.
Although it was not the game for the top places, both teams showed their best in their last meeting. Denmark grabbed 23:20 lead and dominated the rest of the game. They needed a 26-14 surge to take 15 point deficit at the halftime. Slovak Republic replied with 15-11 in the third quarter as Brutovsky reduced to 49:57 before Birketoft closed the quarter at 60:49. Denmark meanwhile posted 21-13 in the last stanza to seal the victory.
Soeren Olsen (185-PG-93) top-scored for the winners with 17 points, while Esben Reinholt (196-G-93) posted 13. Philip Hertz (210-C/F-92) and Sami Eleraky (210-C-93) delivered 12 points each and the latter also added 10 rebounds. Peter Kancir (187-G-92) netted 18 points in the losing effort, while Matus Luley (195-F-92) had 11. Viktor Dedecek (200-F-93) and Jaroslav Moravek (204-F/C-92) scored 9 points each in defeat.

26-year old guard Andre Jones (191-G-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Prievidza and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25. He had the game-high 25 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Prievidza in his team's victory, helping them to beat Nova Ves (#10, 3-20) 90-75. SBL Round 25: Inter Bratislava beats Iskra Svit by two after a very close game - 2 days ago
Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Fifth-ranked Iskra Svit (12-11) was very close to win a game against second ranked Inter Bratislava (18-5) on Saturday. Inter Bratislava managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected easier game. Inter Bratislava shot 66.0 percent from the field.
