SKBD Rucon Spisska Nova Ves signed 23-year-old center Marketa Zatloukalova (190-C-89) from Czech Republic. Zatloukalova has practised with the team for 10 days without a contract. Nevertheless, with her performance she persuaded the club to signing a two-year deal with the player. Zatloukalova spent four seasons at Valosun KP Brno. Previous year she played just in 8 games and averaged 2,6 points and 3,8 rebounds. Zatloukalova was also a member of Czech U20 National team in 2009 in Poland. There she averaged 3,7 points and 2,2 rebounds per game. Thanks to signing with Spisska Nova Ves, Zatloukalova will have an opportunity to play against her former team as Brno as well as Spissna Nova Ves are going to participate in CEWL and were drawn in the group B with BC ICIM Arad and DSK Basketball Karlin.

Milan Spiner's team compete in Mersch at the Dussmann Trophy that took place from 18th-20th May in Luxembourg. Slovakia U16 posted one victory and finished third at the tournament. The French side posted three victories and clinched the top place.

The French side posted three victories and clinched the top place. In Day 1 Slovakia outscored Luxembourg 54:50. The guests took 18-12 lead after the first period and added 15-14 in the second frame. Moreover Slovakia posted 17-14 rally in the third quarter but managed to save only 4-point win as Luxembourg won the last period 10-4. In Day 2 France outscored Slovakia 67:59. France controlled the majority of the game and reached the second straight win. In Day 3 Belgium overcame Slovakia 59:54, but finished last. Both teams as well as Luxembourg finished with 1-2 record. France rolled over Luxembourg 66:49 and posted the third victory.

Serbia revenge against Slovakia in the second game between two sides in Kranjska Gora. After a 68:74 loss few days ago, the Serbian side posted a comfortable 83:65 victory.

Both teams posted the same number of points in the last stanza for the final result. Jovana Rad (187-PF-87, agency: Josep and Nicolas) paced all the winners with 13 points and Jelena Milovanovic (190-PF-89) notched 12. Popovic delivered 10, whilst Bojana Vulic (191-F/C-84) scored 9. Lucia Kupcikova (184-F-84) answered with 15 points in the losing effort and Vinucalova posted 8. Gabriela Kubatova (171-G-84) followed them with 7 and Krcturbova scored 6.
Good Angels: took 1st place (9-3) in Group B of the Regular Season, took 2nd
place (2-1) in Group A of Final Eight, lost to Fenerbahce 56-68 in the
Semifinals, lost to Burges (FRA) 57-65 in the 3rd place game !!!
